Lanvin S/S 05 Paris

leyla is the one that mentioned on the favorite places in london thread that joseph has other designers here in london...

i went yesterday for the first time...completely by chance...we were driving by and i shouted ..."quick ...pull over...i have to go in there!"

luckily my friend already knows to expect such outbursts from me...

anyway-viktor and rolf(very good), marni(incredible), rochas (very little), prada, lanvin, azzedine alaia ...with shoes and bags downstairs... :flower:

well now I wish I had actually gone in. You weren't on Kings Road by any chance yesterday?

no...just hopped out of the car for a bit ...that's all...

I am loving the Lanvin collection for this season. I loved the Lanvin collection for last season. Alber is really hitting his stride, and it's impressive. What's even more impressive to me is that I heard that he designed the whole thing vocally, considering that he injured his arm. :)

This is a perfect spring collection. I love the use of navy and black... and the bright yellow. The voluminous pieces were tasteful and elegant... and avoided any association with 80's wear. This is a pure French line and really celebrates the art of french dressing.

it seems quite light fabric to me, judging from the way it folds ..you'll be surprised how light some gold threads can be.. ;) and you are much welcome needless to say perle :flower:

another belated welcome, to pucci ;-)

glad we share lanvin choices, welcome to the Elbaz fanclub pucci :-D

Yes, I'm loving Lanvin now. Before I wasn't a big fan, but Elbaz is doing it so well, I think he's the perfect designer for Lanvin.
