Lanvin S/S 11 Paris

Looks good, the first collection in Paris that i like.
It´s more simple but the DNA of Lanvin is definitely there.
The details are as always really pretty.

I agree that this is a bit incoherent. I feel like it's a mashup of Alber's previous collections only this time it's more athletic. I don't like the transition of the clothes wherein it started as minimal but made an opposite turn towards the middle and in the end with those bejewelled dresses. But looking at the pieces individually, it is a youthful and wearable collection. The pleated dresses are lovely.

I'm disappointed with the footwear though. I miss the quirky-feminine yet still very sophisticated heels that he used to show season after season. The shoes here don't do anything for me.

After taking a closer looks at this,, I must admit that those flowy opening looks are just breathtaking. Generally, except those few neon-coloured pieces it all looks wonderful.

A bit mixed up, but still one of my favorite collections this far. Even the printed pieces are decent. Love the dark makeup and jewelery is gorgeous, especially the bracelets.
