yes that outfit is good but it actually doesn't seem her normal style. Don't shoot me but it seems a bit Ashley O. to me....

When I saw that outfit the first thing that came to my mind was Ashley . Its a nice outfit but nothing original. But then again she never is. But that's okay neither am I. I don't expect her to be a trendsetter or try something different. She does simple, girly chic very well.

The dress is nice, but nothing special. Kind of what she always looks like.
The make-up, though, is different, I believe, but different doesn't necessarily mean better. For now I think it looks a little weird, but I'll probably get used to it.

I dont think it is about being defensive rather than every single outfit she has worn lately... it is "someone else" style. If not the Olsens but Nicole Richie. I, myself, find it ridiculous because Lauren's style has not change that much... she is using trends that everyone uses. Since when does a classic shirt with jeans is one particular person's style. Many girls wear this combo every day.. and Lauren herself have put outfits similar to the last one more than once before.

This is exactly how I feel. It seems no other celebrity can wear anything on TFS (a top with jeans, a scarf with anything, shorts with a top, a jacket with a dress?) without overzealous Olsen/Moss/Richie fans swooping in to declare that they are "copying" their beloved icon. It gets old after a while especially when we are talking about basic combinations of clothes that people have worn forever and it doesn't take a fashion genius to come up with. Not everyone in the world follows the day to day fashion choices of the Olsens.

Lauren dress is so chic and she looked gorgeous and sexy, kinda like a younger version of Carmen Electra. The dress is supposely be from her line. However, I thought her whole look was uninspiring and redundant... didnt she just have the same look at a dinner in DC?

To me the shirt + jeans outfit is Lauren doing a classic look, she's worn similar stuff before. I think that the more simple the outfit, the better she looks. Although i would like to see something less safe at premieres/parties.

that is a cute dress. I never said she was copying Ashley Olson, nor did anyone else, simply that it reminded us of her. Especially when you live in an area as concentrated as hollywood there is going to be some 'look' borrowing but I do think Lauren has her own defined style which is quite simple and basic.
