I totally disagree with those who said that it was appropriate that she dressed classically and 'plain' because she should leave the striking fashion to the nominees and real actresses

first off, she would've dressed this way no matter what. Simple and flattering is just her style..

secondly, nobody should feel less entitled to dress and look fantastic because they don't feel their worthy. Anyway, I don't think that's why she dressed like this..

I don't like her dress either, but sometimes I feel like Lauren is damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. If she stays true to her own style, she's boring; if she steps outside the box, she's usually accused of ripping off another celebrity.

In any case, I've always loved her every day, candid style more than her red carpet looks.

I actually like Lauren's better... It was lovely and elegant and I loved the neckline. The one CS designed looked shapeless and tacky imo. I did like the dress he designed for Heidi though.

I think Lauren made an excellent choice in wearing navy to the Emmys, absolutely gorgeous.

she s young she should ve gone with something daring and avant garde instead of playing it safe.
