The liquid eyeliner takes LOTS of practice. Sometimes I do it and it looks amazing but other times, my hand will shake and I will make one side crooked. It's definitely a mastered art. :p

Agree, its a mastered art and thats why I stick to regular pencil liners haha!!

yeah I also don't think liquid is that hard :p I think it's important to find one that has a more 'solid' brush though (ie it's not like a bendy paint brush, more like a very very liquid felt tip pen) because they are easier to control and give smoother lines, while still being liquid. Another tip is to do your eyes first with a pencil liner, and then go over top with liquid, since I find that it will generally adhere a bit to the pencil, or in the very least, stay in the same lines of the pencil. Almay makes a really great (and cheap) liquid liner and from the first time I tried it I found it easy to use.

i'm gonna have to recommend Lancôme artliner, it is the best one ever.
i wonder what lauren uses, i doubt mark :/

i love liquid eyeliner, its all i ever use. it helps if u put ur elbow down on a table when u apply it, it makes ur hand steadier.

The liquid eyeliner look can be difficult to achieve at first, but i think you get good by practicing; she totally mastered that. Her hair also looks impeccable everyday. It's not that hard though, she used to wear it straight, so it would be a matter of time until she started playing around with the flat iron. Achieving the curl-look isn't that hard, i've leant it from my hair stylist :flower:

She needs to fire that makeup "artist" i prefer her everyday look, she looks like she has too much foundation on red carpet hq's. I agree her curls look impeccable, i envy that! i cant use the flat iron to curl my hair and god know ive tried! theres no tutorial that can help me out, i always end up with one decent curl, a whole mess and a sore head!:p

that s such a great tip, thanx and karma to u:flower:

while I love her eye makeup and hair almost always, she sometimes has foundation that cakes around her upper lip, a problem that used to happen to me before I found the correct makeup! It's like when you put powder over foundation and it gives you a fake moustache

They both look really cute in the Seventeen scan.

I prefer liquid liner as well. I just start at the middle right above my eyelash line and draw towards the outer corner, then go back to the middle and draw towards the inner corner. Sometimes I use homemade kohl (but I find that so difficult to put on!).

i like homemade khol but am too scared i d poke myself in the eye or something. am just amazed at how every woman in my family seems to do it so easily:rolleyes::innocent:

I agree about firing her make up artist... she is such a natural beauty and really does not need all that cake on foundation... and those fake eyelashes... I wish she would give it a rest and go with a more natural look. She usually looks flawless on her everyday look with little to no makeup.

i haven´t seen this pic of her before..

^ I agree. I miss seeing candids of her!

That's a cute picture of her. She's a pretty girl. She doesn't need much makeup.

I agree about getting rid of her makeup artist, ZPosen. I think she's stuck with her though b/c the makeup artist is most likely from avon and she has to use mark. products when she goes to events, etc. She does fine on her own anyways, because I love her candid looks and how she looks on The Hills more than her event pics most of the time anyways.

I think she looks really good there! I do however prefer her in casual candid style with little to no makeup.
