Really dislike the round toed pumps. I'm all for wearing whatever you want and not stop wearing something because it's "out" but they just seem a bit outdated. I'm kinda suprised she still always wears them and never wears pointy toed pump which I prefer by far.

^I'm on the tall side and I never wear pointed shoes because I feel like they make my large feet look even larger. Your practically have to go up a size to make them fit and when you already have big feet that's not something you want to do Can't speak for Lauren though.

I know I'm in the minority, but I'm getting bored with a lot of her looks lately. Part of this is because I re-watched some old episodes of The Hills and she had such great, varied style and always did her hair differently. I'm over the sock bun.

^ During The Hills days Lauren was a full-time celeb who dressed for the cameras. MTV encouraged the paparazzi so there were pics of her every day. Nowadays she's a full-time businesswoman who goes to an office to work and dresses accordingly. We get an average of 2 pics of her a month and that mostly when she's caught at the airport.

There aren't many candids of her this year but in those we get her hair is up, down, bangs, no bangs. Compared to someone like Alexa Chung or Kate Bosworth Lauren is very versatile with her hair. She clearly has a "uniform" - skinny jeans/blouse/sweater --but it works for someone who isn't courting attention. She always looks effortless yet polished.

She dresses like a real person who dresses herself,she just happens to have more moeny than the average woman her age. I like that she has knows what she likes and what looks good on her. Her staples of ballet flats, boots, jeans, pretty dresses in simple silhouettes and prints and neutral heels are classics that will always be "in."

Loladonna, you're absolutely right. And those pics prove she's been more versatile than I thought hair-wise. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the old days? Not saying it's realistic or a popular opinion, but it's how I feel.
