more from Lauren Conrad's L.A. Fashion Week Diary
Putting the Flowers to Use
"After we chose all the flowers, it was time to make them into headbands," says Lauren. But don't think it's all work and no play..."It was a long day and I got silly with the flowers!"
Show Logistics & Music
"Here I am agonizing over different music. A couple months before every show, I start thinking about the kind of music I would like to use during the show and closer to the show I sit down with our DJ and pick out a bunch of music. From there I choose the final six songs for the show," says Lauren. Below if the show's DJ, Ryan Best. "We worked with him on the last show so he knows the type of music I like and how each song needs to have a good beat for the models to walk to."
The Inspiration
The board on top "is the inspiration board for the overall look and the other board is for the hair and makeup for the show," says Lauren. Makeup artist Amy Nadine will create the face looks using Mark cosmetics and Christine Symonds, stylist at Warren-Tricomi Los Angeles, will head the team of hairstylists.
