I totally agree with you. I only think some celebs can pull it off like Angelina and Gwen, but i still hate it.

Used to hate leopard print, now I want a pair of black & white sheer leopard print leggings....

I hate leopard too, but what you described, actually sounds good!
are they just black and white? no orange or brown or anything?

how do you feel about leopard print?

i usually don't like animal print much but lately i'm liking leopard. i think if you wear it right it can look classy. what do you guys think...classy or trashy?

If this doesn't make you like it then I don't know what will.

Those shoes and me is purrreee luvvveeeee

ah, I think this is very much up to the personal style of the individual wearing it! some people can pull off leopard print and look adorable, not trashy. there are obvious steps that can be taken to avoid looking like julia robert's flatmate in pretty woman.

I saw a girl the other day with a leopard print tote and she wore it so effortlessly, I really give her kudos for being able to carry it off in such an understated manner.

me though, I would not wear it. it'd look laughable on me and does not suit my style at all.;)

As someone who grew up in South Africa and having had to put up with the hideous sight of tourists thinking they were so safari when wearing trashy leopard-print anything while in my country,my gut instinct is to reject it utterly and out of hand.

However,if I think about it rationally,I agree with Utopia:flower: .Not for me,but I have seen it done well.(usually in moderation.)

I agree with utopia. It really depends on the person who's wearing the print + their personal style.

YES, no brown or orange! ^_^ But I have to find them!

It was funny what my friend said when the rocker-boy-with-leopard-print-chiffon-shirtthingie passed
"the print is considered cool when it's in clothes..but think about your body tattoed on leopard print. Everyone will look at you and think "what a freak""
:D

I like it, but in small doses!! A little goes a looooooong way :flower:

I like leopard print, I think it's fun and rock&roll.

I've actually met a girl who works as a bike messenger downtown and she has a leopard print tattoo on her arm...... It's simply gorgeous..... It's in black....

Gwen pulled it off at the VMAs with her LAMB line, but I do not like it as a general rule. This trend seems to return every 3-5 yrs. It just reminds me of my grandma in the 80s.

I don't do animal prints. Ever.

Now I have a co-worker who likes leopard print and often uses it as an accent, and she pulls it off well. She's a really sharp dresser anyway, and she always wears things that fit her perfectly, are great colors for her complexion, has relevant and clever accessories and great shoes. She's just the sort of woman who can make stuff look good, and she can wear the hell out of some leopard print.

It might help, too, that she's a very regal-looking, slim, tall, African-American woman. She looks like a model anyhow, and the warm tones in leopard-print really suit her complexion. Oddly, she and I often have very similar choices in color palattes--lots of oranges, warm browns, cream, not white, and bright, warm reds. I'm white, with a kind of sallow complexion, but somehow she and I can and do wear similar colors most of the time. I'll leave the leopard print to her, though, because she truly owns it!

i love animal print but only on the right person. i found this shoe a few minutes ago. i know that this is not a shoe thread but someone posted the louboutin pigalles too. so here is a pair of giuseppe zanotti. love them...i think gwen would like them too... :flower:
