Lolita Chic

susan eldridge was in lolita-style swimsuits pics in this months uk elle, but I can't find the pics

i thought it was funny how someone signed my yearbook calling me lolita. sweet.

<3 me.

...and is there a reason why one would sign your yearbook as that, fireatwill? Affair with teacher or what?

This trend is on a hiatus but I think it will definity carry out. Especially with last Fall's "lady-like" vintage inspired clothing and the summer boho chic all mixed intogether. Baby dolls, lace, bows and eyelets send them my way.

oh yeah...the more kindergarden stuff in called "kinderwhore" I believe

or something like that

Lolita, light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth. Lo. Lee. Ta.
She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock. She was Lola in slacks. She was Dolly at school. She was Dolores on the dotted line. But in my arms she was always Lolita.

I love this trend.

^God the lollypop is so obvious.
Though I do like this trend, I am beginning to find it more and more disturbing. I don't know whether I want to 'infantilise' myself...
