L'oreal Color Pulse

Oooh, that iced coffee colour looks good..

How many washes does this last?

:)

I wash my hair 3 times a week so... heh.... it'll probably last me about 3 weeks instead of the average 2

Ah, I may give that a shot then - seems cheaper than going to the hairdresser everytime

But how does it fade? I mean does it suddenly all go away, or towards the end do you have some of your natural haircolor sticking out, mixed with the new one? that's the one thing that has sort of kept me from doing it... But Stephanie, your hair looks great, if I may say so!:flower:

omg, i was so going to ask you guys about this, how much is it? the color pulse stuff that is, i love the iced plum color in the ads, i dunno if it'll stick to my hair though :/

i'll try it as well, but nothng stick to it because i have really dark hair

I think that if you have light colored hair this is an awesome product

Lasts a month or so on mine but wears off the roots quicker when you wash it.

I use this once every few months and I like it. I first used Lively Auburn and it lasted about a month and a half. Then I used the bright red shade (whatever it is) and it wasn't bright for more than a couple weeks but it faded nicely and looked natural. Red Copper Spritz is really nice, last time I dyed it was 2 months ago and there is still some of the colour in there and it's very natural.

It's very inexpensive and it's good if you're not allowed to go permanent.

^ Those colors don't sound familiar... are they new?

I know that a lot of stores started clearancing certain shades. I wonder how the line's doing. Not too well, I would guess?

If you have dark hair, I cannot warn you all enough to not even try it. It simply won't work. A lot of people think slapping dyes on their head without reading the packaging is a good idea. Believe me, I know me it definitely isn't. Check the levels on the product, check the colour chart on the side, both can be inaccurate but it's a start. Read the ingredients, does it contain peroxide? It won't lighten your hair. Is your hair darker than the colour on the box? It cannot change the colour of your hair. These are temporary dyes for enhancing the shade of your hair to something more vibrant, or darkening. Even then it may not always work.

My hair's really dark brown, and I tried using the black one not too long ago; there was basically no visible change. It looked slightly darker, maybe somewhat purplish, but not really dark. Like Tifa hair, this stuff isn't really made for people with dark hair; my best friend's hair color is similar to mine, and she tried the plum one and there was really no difference besides the occasional reddish glimmer under the sunlight.

One thing's for sure: it left my hair feeling unbelievably soft and manageable. For that reason I'd consider trying it again...but I probably won't though :p

I have used Colour Pulse twice: once when i had dark hair, and once when i had fair hair. Both times it made the texture incredible- silky soft and shiny, but both times i wasnt too fazed on the colour. All the dark shades are variations on red, but the blonde shade turns your hair really yellow. Not golden, just yellow. So i wouldnt mind trying again because it makes the hair feel so nice, but the colours just arent that good.

I have golden brown hair, and I used the black. I have very very thick hair, so I just used it on one part for a "streak"

I had used Sun-In stuff a few weeks before, and I think that's what caused this, but I ended up with purple-gray hair. Everyone was teasing me about getting old too soon.

I liked the gray tho ^_^

I used this on my hair once in either ginger rush or red pulse....it might have been red pulse (I'm looking at the shades they have on their website), and it lasted me a good 3-4weeks even with 4 washes a week. It was very vibrant red, with my fair skin I loved it.

I would try it but my hair is so damn dry and damaged that it probably wouldn't hold onto it for more than a day.

It's really funny because the last one I tried, I believe it was the Red Copper or something like that, I put in my hair in early February. I still have some of the colour in there and I wash my hair every other day. If your hair lightens naturally at all, it will stick in there. Now I want to go back to my true hair colour but it's a lovely reddish tinge now that is subtle, but you can really tell when it's sunny out.
