This and Gilmore Girls are about the only things i watch on TV.

ooh i just remembered in that first scene with desmond in the hatch living quarters, he switched on or adjusted a knob on some machine and the resulting sound from that was a lot like the "monster"/island security system only softer. Is it just me?
^ I didn't catch it since I was too busy trying to figure out what was going on, but I wouldn't doubt it. For being alone in a sealed hatch on a "deserted" island, he didn't seem to be lacking anything. (Except company.)
