Jun3, any time from now on that I have any questions, I'm just going to come to you direct. You're like a kind of handbag Yoda! *bows in reverence* :ninja:

I do own an LV bucket (not epi though). It took me a while to get one because I wasn't sure of the shape either but I after I finally did get it, I can't believe I lived without one for so long!!! My only concern about this bag is the open top. Sometimes when the bag tips, things (not all) fall out. If you are afraid that the shape is too "severe" for you, may I suggest an epi Noe or Petit Noe. Very nice, romantic shape, holds a ton and one of LV's oldest desings. Give it a look and good luck with your decision.:flower:

What do you think of the red one? Too flashy? I looove red bags and have the wardrobe that goes with it. But since I intend to use it as an everyday bag...

What do you say about this LV Jeune Fille? Authentic? It's over 15 years old

And btw is there supposed to be a date code in LV bag when the bag is 15 or more years old?

Damier without a doubt!

Please girls, would you buy a LV epi (bucket) in red or black? I intend to use it for work, l love red but a more 'sensible' choice would be black. But black is... too safe! Would I get sick of the red? It is really BRIGHT RED (beautiful) but maybe too overwhelming?..."there goes the girl with the red bag once again..." :( My heart says red, my head says black. HELP!

shadow, go with your heart. I would choose black because I think you can never get sick of black, but the red could always be a nice choice to complete your outfits.

It's a tough choice! Personally, I LOVE color! I only have one, maybe two, black bags. The rest are all colorful ones! I would go with red because it's a very sexy color!:brows: And red epi is easy to match. Do you own any black bags? If you do, go for red! If not, black is the way to go! I hope this helps!:flower:

Thanks girls, maybe I shall follow my heart. After all, in her Guide to Elegance, Ms Dariaux said that a "sensible buy" was never a success. It was safe and boring. And I'll be damned if I am going to spend so much money on something boring. Carpe diem!

(I already own black and red bags, but red is a colour that I use especially in winter, to lift up the drab browns and greys).

i bought an LV toiletre case a few years back will they write a letter to verify its authenticity or do they only do verbal conformation?

GR~ i think it is just verbal, to prevent misuse of a written authentification from LV...

shadow~ you're very welcome. wish you the best in whatever bag you choose :flower:

Thanks, Jun3machina  "earned it with the sweat of my brow"...my new job is KILLING me and this is the candy at the end of the month. Carpe Diem.

Hi I been thinking about buying LV Manhattan GM for fall. I was wondering what anybody think about the GM bag. It is quite large. I need a new handbag for the fall. Any suggestions.
