Nice reference too on cover to 'Emmanuelle' which was a huge erotic influence and film reference in France back in the 70s or whenever that film was made. I wasn't born I don't think but I know about that chair!!!
Anja hasn't got a prude career we can all agree on that, we have seen her countless of times baring all in fashion eds, She reminds me of Kate, except I find her naked poses a little less repetitive that Kate Moss' lately. She is always very graceful with her long dancer like limbs.
Sadly in these days and age, very few naked eds will not feel a little too photoshopped, as now it is part of the norm.
I still appreciate them nevertheless, as for me, nudes celebrate the winning (not always though) combination of model and photographer, within the fashion industry but without the fashion element if that makes sense. it is an art form in most cases.
Having said that, long gone are the days of the pure nudes like Herb Ritts or Avedon... 1980's/90s where I don't think they had the technology to do overkill the woman's beauty by retouching any but let it do its thing.
When I look at my vintage Pirelli framed calendars, I think 'woa what a beautiful image of a beautiful woman'. It is art and a celebration of the woman's body.
I think Lui is the Playboy for Model
