Looking divine! Didn't Diane Kruger also once wear this gown to an event?

She looks amazing in the VI editorial, she photographs like a dream. And she's rocking that Saint Laurent collection.

As if my crush on her wasn't big enough, this editorial just destroyed me.

I did this fake photo using Photoshop just to show you guys how amazing Lupita would look if she wore this Elie Saab gown to the Oscars

^ Whilst I think that Elie Saab gown is incredible, I actually don't think it's quite right for Lupita. I would prefer in something sleeker, and less princess-y. As others have mentioned before me, more of Calvin Klein aesthetic. Great job with the photoshop however!

I agree. I really hope she'll knock us out at the oscars and don't take the predictable big puffy gown route. She always nails it when she goes for sleek designs. I really hope she'll get a genius custom creation though because I haven't seen one single dress in the couture season that was worthy of her & her big moment

I finally saw 12 Years a Slave this evening , it just came out in France, and there's no way she doesn't get the Oscar. More than a breakthrough her performance is a tour de force and one of the most gutwrenching portrayal I've ever seen. Patsey will become a truly memorable character that's for sure.

PS: She looks sensational in the VI editorial. Not gonna lie a part of wishes to see her n the cover of US Vogue one day even though it doesn't mean anything anymore and she's so beyond that.

^Funny, I saw it this evening, too. (Finally!) It got to the point where I just blubbered every time she was on screen. She did so much with a role that could've easily been a throwaway one at the hands of a less capable actress.

Anyway, I came across this, which features most of her best looks, IMO (Prada, Proenza, Calvin, Lanvin):

Thanks for that collection of her best looks Lola; she really does suit a sleek aesthetic. But given that she's a model-like beauty with incredible grace, I think she can mix it up and pull off different looks. She has the comportment, certainly.

I'm wondering if she'll turn up at NYFW for Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein. At least we'd have some idea of where she's leaning with her Oscar dress choices.

That Elie Saab would be STUNNING on her. She's tiny, but she's got the elegance and personality to keep it from overwhelming her.
