Lupita Nyong'o

The dress she wore to the Met Gala was definitely a miss. She looked like she was wearing a fishing net that just caught a bunch of seaweed and garbage.

I really wish she weren't aligned with Prada. I see more missteps in the future.

I really don't get her dress at the MET. I see more carnival than prom or ball gown.

I hardly ever comment on what people's wearing (I just couldn't care less), but while I think her MET outfit was awful, I feel it will be one of the most remembered in the future... Hate this word, but I feel it will become sort of iconic.

Ugh, her skin is absolutely flawless. And the sprinkle of glitter in her fro is perfect.

Love the dress and for once her shoes are great too! If there is any part I'm not nuts about, it's the hair.

After a few looks that weren't completely convincing and The MET Ball I was afraid she'd delivered too many fantastic looks back to back to excite us again but here she looks sensational. The shoes are perfect and I love the dress. I especially love how it compliments her amazing figure.

Really like this last look, the color and cut is wonderful. And the touch of glitter in her hair just adds a little something extra.

Been saying that, her shoe choices are not always the best.

Wait, why would the news bring hate? Have I missed something?

I also heard that she was optioning the film rights to the book Americanah, too. That would be cool.

Anyway:
Since bursting on the scene in last year’s 12 Years a Slave, Lupita Nyong’o has won an Oscar, been named People’s “Most Beautiful Woman,” and landed a Lancôme beauty campaign.

Now, Nyong’o, who has aced all her red-carpet appearances, will be welcomed into fashion’s inner circle as a presenter at this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards on June 2. She will be presenting the womenswear-designer-of-the-year award, which is being decided between Marc Jacobs, Alexander Wang, and Joseph Altuzarra, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
