Well I remember she was about 40 when Ray of Light came out in 1998. So that makes her around 46 right now.

I suppose my problem with Madonna is not that she's still performing when she doesn't have the need. My earlier post was harsh, I admit, and I do understand that performers have a naturally desire to perform no matter what. I just think her latest endeavors (from American Life to GAP to the Britney kiss to endorsing Wesley Clark) have been really lame. She's lost her flame and is now just desperately trying to create controversy. It's kinda sad.

lol maybe that was Cher's age?

Anyway Chick, i agree with you..she was such an icon before..but since i've never been a fan of hers i dont see what all the hype about Madonna was about

i agree- she is really running on fumes. seriously.

she has been huge for 20 years.....but that makes sense to me because ive always seen her as a
mass / multi media marketer more than performer. i mean she's basicly barbie. too many images not enough purpose......i mean what is madonna's point? entertainment- and sorry its worn off ( on me) of course i do enjoy and laugh at some of her past charactors and videos/songs. but now.....sorry like the things mentioned above im just not entertained.
