Make Me a Supermodel season 2

I was surprised with Kerryn. I thought she had some amazing pics and was the strongest of the women. Only reason Branden is still around is he has been lucky and someone else was worse. I like Salome's pics and so have the photogs, and is the main reason she has made it this far.

Mountaha sort of irked me when she had here little "what do you know speech" to the judges because she was in the Montreal newspaper for fashion week.

Overall I like the format of the show. Could have been casted a little stronger. Then again, not sure what the pre-reqs are for casting. I know the majority of the models I have been around doing catalog shoots in New York were much stronger than these, so my guess is that they are looking for folks with very little experience.

All in all I like the concept of the show too. It's going to be interesting to see who will win (my guess is Jonathan, but my guesses are never really that good).

Am I seriously the only person this planet who HATES Sandhurst? Please tell me no. He's just so.. UGH. I don't like ANYTHING about him. I think his runway is horrible. I see nothing special about his photographs.

I don't know who should win. Maybe Mountaha. Jordan was my favorite, then Colin.

Colin I found too geeky / uncomfortable in his own skin.

Sandhurst does not bug me as much as he does you, though I wish he would get the gap in his front teeth fixed.

I don't really like Sandhurst too. His face is IMO a bit weird even though he has a perfect body. Jordan was my fav too.

I humbly stand corrected... :D

Have you found that now he is gone you are less interested in the show?

I definitely think he grew the most of all the cast as well as seemed like a genuinely nice guy

That photographer was rude. When Salome said "thank you" after a critic (which is what your suppose to do) Puru the photographer said "thank you for giving me a bad critic, your welcome come back next week better". I wish someone would just slap him.

Yesyesyes. I don't have the same interest anymore, I'll still keep on watching though.. I'm a sucker for these shows.

Though on the subject of Colin.. when he was eliminated I did not expect Nicole to actually express disgust!

Also, I kind of like Brandon. I don't know why, just something about him.

the judges, hosts, the show! has soo many contradictions.. i get really annoyed sometimes (why do i watch this lol). it seems they already have an agenda, like who they want in the bottom, to win, to be out, and just find ways to justify it.. this is a reality show, i guess they have to make it more "interesting"

oh! out of everyone, i think on a physical aspect brendan i see "model" though he needs some help..other than that i really dont like anyone else

ps. brendan crying was so adorable :(

Forgot about that with Nicole. Yeah, I think she sort of really liked him.

One of the things I have gotten from the show is a little more of an appreciation for the difference of photogenic from runway presence.

Other way I look at it, I tend to use Tyson and Nicole as bench marks, so I look at the stage and think whether the people there with more experience under their belts could rise to their level, but then again I don't consider Tyson or Nicole a supermodel either.

Not sure how I would fix or change it... Maybe some weighting to the bottom, so if you were in the bottom twice you were more likely to go, versus someone like Kerryn who I think really would be strong between Salome and Mountaha. So much of the show is luck with some of these crazy shoots.

I guess this approach would be just too logical for a tv show.
Not enough drama if you get rid of the weak models when they deserve it.

So when is that? You dismiss 8 models first episode? :innocent:

I think a little stronger casting would help, but I think they really are going for that little to no experience

I'm SO excited for the Blonds runway this week. I love their corsets and when I saw the models wearing them in the preview I got a bit excited. :woot:

How many weeks left? Two? Three?

It was funny. I was reading through the blogs and both Jordan and Mountaha were saying how unfair the heelys were and that it was unfair that was held against Jordan. I sort of laughed. I looked to one or two episodes before when Salome was doing an underwater shot and she is Aquaphobic. So which is tougher, trying to do a walk in heelys or maintain composure facing a huge fear?

Still find it karma how Jordan was so gleeful about Amanda leaving and that episode it is her turn. Funny how things can work out.

Still think it is Jonathan's to lose. Time will tell. Branden I think is the next to go.

After tonight this show has completely left me dumbfounded. Could not of been a worst elimination. :yuk:

Not sure why. Mountaha completely mailed it in.

She starts by prancing around and all in glee because Salome is gone. Whether people like Salome's walk on the catwalk or not, she tended to kill during the photo shoots and gave the photogs what they wanted.

There is definitely Karma at play when Jourdan is ecstatic that Amanda is gone, and Mountaha is gleeful that Salome is gone and *POOF*

Mountaha was completely cocky.... There is me... I make the final three... then Queen Mountaha.

What does she do? She mails it in.

Photo shoot... Looked nice... Loved her dress (Anyone know who the designer was) and then does ONE POSE. I have only participated in a dozen or so photo shoots assisting, and I can tell you that sometimes the shot the photographer thinks they get a lot of times is not, so there is a huge preference for more and variety. She was only lucky to not be the worst pick because Branden was too excited and his scream shots did not come out.

Runway...

As much as I have not liked Branden in the past... He was trying, learning and was MUCH better than before. He is showing the judges that he is coachable... and though extremely young, he is showing he can grow.

Sandhurst killed the picture, Jonathan the runway

Mountaha on the runway was expressionless and when she is wearing one of the judge's own dresses and the designer says she was "embarassed". YIKES!

Mountaha got the boot because she was over confidant. She was totally dismissive towards Branden, thought it a fait accompli that she was going to be in the final three and that Branden was no challenge.

She was lucky to not have the worst photo, but more importantly, she pissed off the photographer for only giving ONE POSE. Her runway was nothing special. Extremely safe, and almost looked like she was bored up there... O.k.. I do my walk... Lets get me to the final week so I can get my crown.

In general I have liked very few of Mountaha's pics, but she has been one of the stronger on the runway. This week she completely mailed it in... was more about not taking chances, just doing the bare minimum and assuming that it was her, Sandhurst and Jonathan.

Branden is probably my least favorite of almost the whole cast, but he stepped it up, made huge improvements on the runway, and tonight it was about some going through the motions versus someone young, trying to come in their own, but someone trying.

Does Mountaha have more potential at this current moment than Branden? Perhaps. I think the bigger issue was she took her role this week completely for granted, that blase attitude shown through and that was what soured the judges on her.

What would have been interesting is if Salome was still there instead of Branden or even Jourdan. If that had been the case, I think Mountaha would have tried and would have worked harder and may have made it to the final three.

This is the old Tortise and the Hare... Mountaha coasted too early

wow I missed the episode so thats for the synopsis

damn felt like I watched it myself. I will definitely try to catch the rerun

I think Mountaha was in shock

I really love Sandhurst

Brandon has improved quite a bit, I didn't really get him
at first but now I can see him working.

Brandon is a total Hugo Boss guy; i want him to win.
jonathan annoys me for some reason.
Either Sandhurst or Brandon to win
