maybe it has something to do with him re-dying his hair back to blonde, that's what i thought (especially in the eyebrows).

i have a friend that hangs out with mountaha in nyc and he says she's rather annoying and full of herself.. she became too cocky and adios. same with sandhurst, he's getting too full of himself.

i still like brandon's look but i he does not seem to have the maturity or mind set to do modeling while sandhurst and jonathan do, i cannot imagine them working.. shrugs. whatever, its just a tv show right?

It gets hard to temper one's judgment, so I always try to remember that it is a TV show, it has been edited or we only see a small portion of it, so it can become intentionally slanted by either context, or how the show wants a person to appear.

On Jonathan, I just don't know... Seemed like eyeliner and mascara... just don't know, but went from more clean cut to I don't know... Diva... His eyes just seemed to glammed up.

I do have a slight bias against Mountaha that came after the Montreal show when the judges were trying to give her criticism and she was on stage basically saying "what do you know... I was in the Montreal newspaper..." Models need confidence, but what I have seen coming through on the TV screen has been more of arrogance. Don't know her in person. She could be wonderful, and completely different from those snippets. Though looking at the last episode and lack of effort (perceived... though judges noted it as well), that would fit with an assessment that she was looking down on Branden and figured she could just skate through.

Branden is interesting. He is one of the ones I think early on could have gone, but he has made the most of his luck and has improved. Out of all the people on the show, he definitely is the one who I think the experience will mature him the most. Not sure if he is ready or not to step into the world of modeling, doing a lot of traveling, etc., though I think being around Sandhurst and Jonathan a lot has sort of been like having bigger brothers to him and I think he has gained from that.

He is still the rawest, still lacks judgment at time... like being warned that scream faces don't generally come out, and still being more determined than ever as to that was what to give...

I would like to see a lot of them get a shot and hope the show helps give them exposure and more opportunities to at least give them a chance to really see.

I am not surprised to see an all guy final. I juxtaposed the women with Nicole and the Guys with Tyson. I just saw more of a gap with the women with Nicole as the benchmark.

Would be interesting to do "Where are they now..." episode a year or so down the line and see if the ones who don't make it can still go out and grow and maybe really rise past the winner.

I want Jonathan to win, mainly I think for the family thing... but I think Sandhurst will pull it out.

I really hope the final 6 people can go on and be successful despite not winning the show...

i have a feeling sandhurst is going to win.
i think jonathan did better than sandhurst so i jonathan>sandhurst>brandon. i still think brandon has the look (and the height, he's much taller than the other guys no?) but he's still not that great at taking pictures. maybe it would be better not to win.. but im sure nymanagement will sign him anyways.

Well 15 minutes in, and they are shooting with a rare huge Polaroid camera... only 5 in the world.

Wow. I like Branden's shots the best and Jonathan's the least.

Can the dark horse win? Maybe Branden just needed experience and confidence.

yeah I was pretty happy that Branden won. once it got down to the final 4 i thought he had a real good chance because jonathan just got pretty boring, and sandhurst at his best just didn't look like a supermodel to me.

mountaha was kind of bitchy in her last episode. sure its fine to be sad that you lost, but i don't think she carried herself too well.

I thought it was a great episode and that Branden will do well. Sort of a bit surprising because early on I really did not like him, but he really came on in the last couple of weeks. Have to give him credit, the judges ripped him a new one toward the end of the season, and in the next couple of episodes he seemed lost and likely to go home, and then thinks seemed to click.

I am happy with the result. Jonathan was definitely the most consistent, but as one of the judges said, "He is forgettable". His last few photo shoots have been lacking.

Sandhurst seemed to suffer from the same... As one of the judges stated "peaked too soon." I think he will be successful. He has a blog Sandhurst's Blog and I just found myself liking him. As Branden put it... Johnathan was like a father-figure and Sandhurst a best-friend.

And Branden? I felt he should have went on over Mountaha based on the 2nd to last week's episode effort, but knew he would be a long shot. He nailed the Greenfield-Sanders shot, and as Sandhurst later said to him... "I have to apologize to you. I never really gave you credit"... Or something to that extent. Long and short just validation from Sandhurst saying, "You belong here."

After the Cosmo cover test... Jonathan faded more. Just was awkward and again, his head did not seem in it, or perhaps he had grown all he could and as others got better, he stayed the same.

But Branden??? He was who I was rooting for when it came through to the judges. He made great strides, is young, and I think want put him over the top was he was sprinting at the end where the other two seemed to have slowed. I think it was a tough call, they were all in the same arena, but what judges were seeing was Branden really making strides.

The question remains. Where is the end of this race? Did Branden just catch up in time to edge and get the tape, or is this really a marathon, he selected his spot and now it is his time to break away from the peloton.

He still hasn't asked Nicole out. Dude! What are you waiting for?

Hats off to the producers of the show. I really disliked a lot of the challenges, found them corny and awkward, as well as stressed luck over consistency, but this final episode was great. Bringing the families in, doing the gallery showing, having all the photogs from along the way... it just really stressed that all 3 of them were winners, had come along way and deserved to be there, and just showed as much as it is about image and presence, it is about people as well.

Far from a perfect show, but the world is not perfect either.

Brandon is such a good winner. he can get work straight away. I love his freshness; naivety and raw talent.

Brandon won! I knew he would win when it came down to the final 5. He's been my favorite throughout the show. I wish him all the best of luck with his career.

Please get rid of Nicole. I don't dislike her but I don't think she was that good at mentoring or maybe they just picked weak girls from the start...

^ I would disagree with Nicole... o.k.. I have a mini crush on her as well... I will at least be straight forward and honest...

I think that they did have a weaker bunch of girls from the start, but can remember many episodes where the girls were thanking her for her help. The one I remember the most was Amanda before the nude shoot. She pretty much came out and said if it wasn't for all of Nicole's help, there was no way she could have done it.

It is sort of strange because the way the show is done, you really don't see as much of the mentoring, and how much of it there actually is.

I believe there is a lot more to it than we see.

But to make this a better post... Who would you like to see in her place, BellaDonna? Just curious.

Any thing you disliked about the format? Other changes? My guess is we have 4 months til the next season.

SO HAPPY with the results. When Brendan was on the runway I shed a tear when he backed off and started crying, aha.


I hope (so desperately) that for season three they go back to the format of season one. I really liked how it was.

Just got around to watching this now. What a great Final 3, loved all the guys. I really wanted Jon to win but Branden is a great choice as well. I think he'll get far in the industry.

Seriously I think it's for a male model show to air on tv. It does'nt have to be a competition, just good looking guys vying for a contract. As long as the guys were as humble/nice as Sandhurst, Branden and Jon.
