Marc Jacobs F/W 13.14 New York

I LOVE this. I want those shoes. Its a bit Prada-ish but that suits me lol.

I'm oddly not fond of this-- it might just be the presentation (which is gosh... awfull) but as I look at the better pictures, I'm seeing some rather bland pieces. It does look cheap, it also seems some of the dresses just aren't fitting well. I love the metallics and sparkle that have been ubiquitous through fashion week but I expected more from Marc Jacobs. :/

I like some of it but not all. Loving the fur.

It seems unfinished, the underwear/hotpants are not necessary.

Lots of shiny crap and again he's ripped off someone, this time it's Olafur Eliasson's "Sun" at the Tate Modern.

Don't really get Lily Mcmenamy look. Maybe he tried to shock, but for my is not working. I don't like this collection. Yes it has the same feeling as F/W 2010.2011, but this collection definitely isn't as good as Fall 2010 !

I really love the shoes, gloves and bags. And some of the skirt suits or skirt sweater combos are appealing because they're so wearable and classic.

I love the beautiful touches of metallic that shimmer through and the coats too, I preferred fall 2010, that was one of my favourite collections of recent years; this is similar but the whole thing seems very sad. Sad hair, sombre setting and even the models themselves look as if they've been told to look particularly sad?

I think the presentation was probably one of those things where if you were there, in the room with it, it was beautiful.. but it doesn't come off all that well in the images or livefeed. I bet that lighting has played havock with some of the photography from it. I like all of these sequinned pyjmama bits, and yes I know he's not reinventing the wheel and that it may well have influences from other designers, but it comes together as a very nice, potentially very saleable collection. Those sequinned pyjama pieces will be everywhere.

Wow. One of his best collection. I´ absolutely in love with that. All the coats, dresses, shorts, pants- i would wear them all and this will sell- for sure.

I'm in between with his collection, some things I like some not. Overall it looks like an easy way out, too simple concerning design and construction. And sometimes I feel Prada passing by.

Will the pyjama trend ever go? I might've loved it all, but those shiny pyjamas won't let me.

 In love with all of this

Want to own just about every piece here.

the outerwear, especially this coat, remind me so much of prada fall 09, but other than that i's a strong collection, and i love the shoes (which i haven't done in ages!).
sparkly clothes aren't my 'thing' but they work here as a whole. it's definitely a million times better than his most recent efforts but it sorta falls flat.

This was definitely his strongest work in quite a while. Very much in line with Fall/Winter 2010; glamorous, wearable evening clothes. However some of the fur was excessive for me. I have accepted that 98% of designers are going to incorporate some of it into their work, but I don't need to be seeing fox heads dangling from dresses . You Mr. Jacobs are no Baudelaire!

How is this a strong collection? Most of the collection is just the same stuff: Fur coats, hot pants with a jacket, and coats that he stole from Prada Fall 2009. There isn't a single thing in this show that doesn't lack. And Lily McMenamy's "outfit" was just stupid. (Another atrociously ugly model who's only making it because her mommy is a supermodel)

I'm going to break down what I see in this collection:
-Coats
-Hot pants
-Small jackets with hotpants
-Fur stoles that look like dead kitties
-Gowns that have nothing special about them other than that they're sequined. Anyone could design them (or make them, for that matter).
