I think it is really weird that they sell those postcards and have that cover for the book if it isn't Marilyn Monroe.

I think its probably because it has the signs of Marilyn Monroe, like the red lips and blonde hair, the poses and the skin. Great picture yet its not Marilyn, which is a shame

Take a look at that website's galleries. That might be the one single website I have ever seen to have so many photographs of Marilyn, everything sorted by the photographer (including at least eight pages of pictures from the Last Sitting with Stern). Karma for whoever owns that site, I am blown away by it's galleries.

JenniferEdieRose: I'm not sure if that Playboy cover is the same as that book cover but I think it looks a lot like it. This question maybe belong in the How do I get this look thread (I think it exists a thread like that) but do you (I) do that lip makeup. I guess with outlining the lips if you lips aren't as full naturally as she has on the picture(s) and a creamy red lipstick. Do you think that is right?

I dont even believe the model had lips that full, so yeah i guess lining the lips made them bigger and what also helps is putting on the lipstick, blotting it and then putting powder on top and going over it in creamy red lipstick. oh and make sure the colour doesnt make teeth look yellow, even a person with the whitest teeth, with the help of a red not the right shade can ruin the whole look I love red, but i'm just too afraid to use it lol

Thanks JenniferEdieRose! I actually though the the model's lips look outlined too. I know Marilyn wanted her lips to seem fuller than they actually were.
