Martin margiela Line 0/10

hintmag.com...

chandelier necklace and bracelet...
pretty...:p

Oooooh...love how dangerous the bracelet looks. You could stab somebody with it.

Softie, those pieces you posted are magnifique!

I don't mind the idea of the wig piece but I can't really tell if that would cause severe irritation(i.e. itching like mad). Is it really a soft fabric of sorts?

You know,I may be really late or just forgotten the news, but I realise now where MMM has shifted & stored all his creative and experimental juices. Artisanal line used to never be that way at all before he went with Diesel! It was really quite subtle and ultra-quiet(to refrain from using the term conservative which never sounds right associated with MMM)...

i would wear the wig vest in a second. its amazing. I love the linear aesthetic of the wigs interior! anything that margiela makes in the artisenal line I would wear in a heart beat. I wish all fashion was as conceptual as his 0/10 collection is!

Although as a concept it is of course genius in theory, the reality of paying a ridiculous sum for something basically picked up in a filthy scrap heap at Clignancourt is just this short of crazy. No matter how many times you boil it.

LOL!

i am still in love with the army sock sweater. if only i would have seen it in time to buy one.

margiela is a master at details, fit and when it comes to recycling garments or accessories.

^funny that that was done over a decade ago and the idea is still just as relevant today as it was then. Well, then,it was revolutionary,I mean. But it's still just as fresh as ever,I think. Just the way he was able to create a pattern and such a strong silhouette out of those socks...amazing.

I'm not sure if he ever actually manufactured that piece or if it was merely a prototype or made-to-order piece....it would be interesting if as the forementioned, one could locate a piece. Dunno though if it was ever actually sold though.

Really? I wish I knew - I could've gotten them for you for next to nothing at the sample sale. :(

It looks beautiful, but I personally wouldn't wear it (since they killed animals for making that jacket)
