yeah, I think she only kept it for a couple of months and then it was back to blond. I think she looked great with the dark hair, but the blond is her best color.
There are some pictures with her darker hair ( the first two are some of my favorites outfits by Ash)

i think she could look very good with dark hair but that color was bad - to dark with red light under black. She should have something from middle to dark brown, but colder and more natural shade

Ashley and Justin Return to LA but Look to Make NYC Real Estate Purchase
Justin Bartha took care of the luggage last night as he and Ashley Olsen arrived at LAX. They're in the States again following some globe-trotting adventures, with Justin's recent stint in Thailand filming The Hangover 2 and Ashley's stay in Paris. Their precious Frenchie skipped out on the trip, though the pet may soon have a new base in the Big Apple since Ashley and Justin have been spotted looking at apartments in NYC. Moving in together is a big next step for the duo, and things may get even more serious since Ashley's been sporting a diamond ring on her right hand after rumblings of a possible proposal.
