Yeah tbh it looks like a bag I’d see with 5 price drops on fashionphile. I’m guessing they’re releasing vintage-esque bags because the market realized the old bags are better quality lol
Hmm I don’t know. There’s a lot of misinformation on social media too.
I know the way the tanneries used to treat leather has changed. They have stopped doing the gold pleated back in 2008 I think but they were already selling silver hardware before. If you look at Chanel bags since 2001, they weren’t looking like the 80’s/90’s ones.

I don’t know how they are going to change the perception on quality because it’s not a systematic issue and Chanel is not a leather goods company. Maybe they will have to reorganize their entire production process for that.
I wonder how long made in Italy will be the standard when Spain and Portugal are really becoming very strong and are offering a competitive product.
