Mini Ipods

I like the gold color they had on the old mini, to bad it's not available anymore.

actually, gold is my first choice too. i asked the guys at the mac store down the street from my place and they said that it was discontinued out of lack of popularity.

it was going to be my pimpod! grr.

the pink is a delightful second best though.

still waiting to see if i can get a deal from my brother's friend's friend.

I don't know about the mini's, but with my old iPod I thought the sound quality was awful until I bought better earbud headphones (Sony, $25). Then it sounded great. I think they just give crappy headphones with the iPod (plus I personally don't like the white). try it with better headphones and I'm sure that problem with the base will be better.

I saw mini's selling at 50% of more off, seems they will be cheaper from now on (will a colour/photo be in the making)... or they just don't sell very well .

I have a Ipod mini and it couldnt be better for me because i dont listen to LOADS of music but if your a music lover the regular ipods better, people dont agree with me picking the green one though

Got mine in blue/aqua... My boyfriend went and got it for me.. so I don't "have" it yet. Can't wait.

I even got a cute ipod case from my internship... gotta love samples.

I got a blue one for AU$100. It's cute and everything, but 1000 songs is a bit of an overstatement. More like 700 with the song lengths I average. Also, the battery life is terrible. I am perpetually recharging it. Make sure you get a cover for it, cos the colour scratches and fades really quickly!!

You're not wrong kimkhuu, Apple has reduced the prices of the iPods. Im not sure why though.

I'm not totally sure either, it could be because quite a lot of people already have them and they're trying to get people who haven't got them already to want one cause they are easier to get if they are cheaper, i'm not certain, I guess iPods have been out for quite a while now.

yes, that sucks .... I spent 3 grand on a laptop about six months ago only to see it go down in price by five hundred in the next two months. Unfortunately, with technology, as soon as you buy it it's 'obsolete' and the prices are always dropping. It becomes a question of whether or not you want it *now* or want to wait for the price to drop...because it always does.

I look at it this way: those two months of use that I got out of my laptop were more than worth paying the extra five hundred dollars for! Think of all the times you've used your ipod between when you purchased it, and the price drop... hope this cheers you guys up

It will be available on April 10th, but there are only 2,000 to be made and for now it will be released in Japan. Hopefully some will be imported to the US/UK. I have my sites set on Ebay. Here is a pic- it's 6GB and $400 US.
