I got a silver mini for Christmas, and it's great! I walk around and ride the subways a lot, and pre-Ipod I kept wishing I had one so I could listen to my fav music, esp. The Strokes.

I got one for my bday! love it. now i don't have any issues with doing the dishes and cleaning (and yes, it's a safe haven from the ugliness of NYC subway)!

I just bought the pink mini, i love it. I went out drinking with friends and i thought i lost my 15GB ipod to find it yesterday while cleaning my bookshelve. Oh well, my boyfriend inherited that one, he is very happy! Don't drink and Ipod.

Does anyone know where to get a cute iPod protector/case? I need something to protect it while I workout....the only thing that keeps it from falling is my chest and my bra sandwiching it

Sephora- iskins.com has a lot of cases. These are also the ones featured at apple.com (and are the same price). Also- check ebay. They have alot in many colors. Just be careful- b/c some of the colored cases dont have clips in the back.

I know, I love it! Is the arm bad necessery for when you jog (I assume you got it because you exercise)? I know it's tempting to buy a ton of accessories for the ipod, but i really don't want to get anything i won't need to use.

faust, to be honest: i do not jog at all! (no sports!). For me the arm band is useful to have my hands free, that's it. It was around 30 euros, quite affordable.
You are right: I wouldn't spend money on accessoires, if I won't use it. The plain iPod is supposed to be in the center, as the object of desire

I don't get the point of a "mini". Why spend so much when it holds way less songs than the 20GB and is only $50 less. This certainly isn't meant to be rude I just don't really get it I'm confused about this ipod deal.. I'm looking to get one for college.

i bought a mini over a normal ipod purely because of the slim size and form, as I dislike having obtrusive (not that the normal ipod is overly big) items in my pockets/ bag. With a cell phone as well, I didn't want to have to carry too much. In addition, 1000 songs is enough storage for me, as I can rotate playlists.

That was exactly my reasoning. I want to stick it in my jeans pocket and forget that it's there. And besides, how many people who have 20GB ipods listen to ALL those songs? I don't know any...

i have the pink mini with a clear rubber sleeve from sking tight on ebay. i like the arm band and rubber sleeve cause the arm band is like neoprene and soft for the gym. and the rubber sleeve is clear so you can still see th epink

i have a green ipod mini. it's adorable. they aren't much easier to carry around than a regular one though lol...theres like a difference of an inch. but you have to be careful about dropping it lol, they chip easily. i suggest buying a case if you are in the market for a mini...juicy couture has really cute ones and a lot of big designers are coming out with them too.

Correct, Hewlett Packard is selling an HP-branded version of Apple's iPod.

I just bought a mini iPod in gold. I am absolutely obsessed with it. Holds all my Prince without putting a dent in the memory..
