well, that IS an iPod. as I said before there is a hewlett-packard co-branded and repackaged version of the fourth-generation ipod.

Ohh don't get a mini! For $50 more you get five times as much music. You could always just get the 20gb a colored case. They are becomming a fashion accessorie. It's all about the white buds and it sucks because I have a 20 gig but the buds don't fit in my ears so I have to wear regular headphones that don't make as strong of a statement. ::sigh:: Anyway, now I'm saving for the bose sound dock.

you can get one custom made at vajacases
i think i'll have to get one made myself. pricey, but i hear nothing but good things about their cases and the quality of them. and you have to wait about a month..
you can pick your color combination and even get a lazer engraving of a logo on it.... ahhh the possiblities.

i'm not a fan of the white bud phenomenon. but that's just me.

to accessorize i'll either get some bling-ified audio technica headphones

for the money.. id say iriver hd players are way better than the ipod. i have a silver one right now but its nothing special from the 15gig one i had.

i didn't like my iriver, i had the 20gig- i didn't like the filetree system, even though that was what i was used to until i got the rio karma (which forced me to tag my mp3s correctly). the rio dj feature is great- but i was getting upset with the rio karma because of its build quality and the lack of ANY third party cases or support. so i gave in and bought an ipod photo- much to my chagrin. but we'll see how it goes- it might just go back to the store.

i do agree iriver hd players better quality wise... it supports more formats than ipods... but ipods are so much cuter...!!!

i love my 20gb ipod. the simplicity and speed of syncing songs and playlists w/itunes is excellent. gotta love mac now i just need to get a mac mini the ipod shuffle is a different creature. not sure if i'd buy it but the fact that it's priced at $99 is another great mac deal. note: do not eat ipod shuffle

I love my mini ipods, I have 2 one in green and one in pink!! I also like some of the cases shown in this thread!!
