It’s official! Grazia can reveal that sources close to Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom are whispering that the loved-up pair are now officially engaged. Bloom, the 32-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actor, flew into Sydney last week to ask Miranda’s father for her hand in marriage. We’re loving your old-fashioned approach, Orlando.
Engagement seemed imminent for the glamorous couple, when the Victoria’s Secret model and David Jones ambassador made an overnight dash to be by her beau’s side for a party during the Cannes Film Festival last month. She’s also been spotted wearing a heavy ring on her engagement finger, not to mention their very public displays of affection on the balcony of The Park Hyatt Hotel last time they were in Sydney.
Ker-Bloom indeed! While there has been no official confirmation from the notoriously private pair at this stage, or any details about the big day, we’re already hearing whispers that they are planning a low-key wedding somewhere in the countryside. IT'S an offer most women would find too good to refuse but Miranda Kerr reportedly feels she can knock back a marriage proposal from Orlando Bloom.

However the 32-year-old British actor has now delivered an ultimatum to Kerr after she twice turned down his marriage proposals.

"He has told her he wants to marry her and will propose again this summer," a source told The Daily Mail.

"If she says no, he's said it will be over.

"Orlando discussed marriage with her in New York last year and again in Sydney earlier this year but she kept saying she was too young."

We only hear things about Orlando Bloom every once in awhile and when we do, it’s usually people talking about how hot he is, or what his newest movie is coming out. This is a Hollywood star that gets his share of media coverage but still manages to come out smelling like roses. And as for his girlfriend, Miranda Kerr, we hear even less about her - until now! It seems that Orlando has decided that it’s time for him and Miranda to get married and if they don’t, he’ll just find someone else that does want to marry him! Yes, it seems that if this newest story is to be believed, Orlando has apparently never heard that ultimatums simply don’t work the majority of the time.
Orlando has reportedly proposed to Miranda twice and she’s turned him down both times. Now he’s ready to pop the question one more time and apparently, she better be ready and waiting with the right answer. From Pop Crunch,

I really hope this story isn’t true. I’ve never thought too much of Orlando Bloom one way or another but if this one turns out to be true, I think I’m going to have start disliking him quite a bit. Not only do ultimatums not work but I don’t think starting off your engagement or your marriage with threats such as, “I’ll leave you if you don’t….” ever turns into something good. And I also don’t think it’s wise to completely disregard the feelings of the person you want to be your spouse forever and ever. If she says she’s too young, she’s too young. That’s it, end of story. Orlando is only 32 himself and Miranda is only 25. What is the rush exactly? Would he rather her marry him when she’s not ready and then get a divorce when he’s 34? Maybe Orlando also isn’t ready for marriage if he’s beginning to think like this. And I hope Miranda points that out to him before she turns down his third proposal.

We've heard it before. This time, it's true.

After three years of dating, genetic lottery winners Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are making it official, as the actor's rep confirms to E! News that the duo is engaged.

The pretty couple first hitched their stars to each other back in 2007, the same year Aussie supermodel Kerr became a Victoria's Secret Angel and Brit Bloom said goodbye to his goatee and made his final outing as a pirate.​

There's no word yet on how or where the question was popped, but it may have been a very recent development: it was only Friday that a then-ringless Kerr was spotted jetting off to New York.​

No date has yet been set for the vow swap, which will be the first for both the 27-year-old catwalker and the 33-year-old thesp. But whenever it happens, we're certain that just like these two lookers, it'll be a beautiful thing.

It's official! "The Insider" can confirm that actor Orlando Bloom and supermodel Miranda Kerr are engaged to be married.


"Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr are getting married," Blooms rep tells "The Insider." "Although there have been previous rumors about their engagement, his rep was able to confirm exclusively that the happy couple are officially engaged."

Kerr and Bloom have been dating since 2007.
