Every single year Miss Universe winner is one big disappointment. Besides, I hate such shallow contests.

i dont think so... who do u think should have won then? HOnestly.. if they picked miss brazil or venezuela... they'd b repeating every other yr. They all look the same. I think all the contestants r beautiful...but i'm glad they went for somehting different this yr.. like miss japan. She has a different look than the south american beauties they always pick time and time again...im quite tired of it.

Lets face it, the Miss Universe competition is a degrading big fat joke. Attempting to give the pageant merit is laughable so the pick of the winner doesn't really matter. So they picked Japan because the same old country wins and that was getting boring, good for Japan then.

Of course that Japan is better. I am definitely fed up with all those cloned "beauties" from South America. They all have the same Barbie look because of loads plastic surgery - that's the truth. There are lots of prettier and natural looking girls in other countries. Besides, I'm generally against all those plastic competitions . I'd love to see normal girls who compete. There are so many pretty girls on the streets !

Based on speculation, South American contestants are not the only ones with proclivities for plastic surgery. There was a lot of gossip about asian contestants as well. I don't know if its the cakey makeup or what, but they all look like girls that should be in those vulgar music videos. Natural beauty is such a foreign concept.

THose asians up there look pretty normal to me. One thing is for sure tho.. if they did go under the knife..its probably to make them HAVE EYE LIDS. Thats it. I've seen before and after of miss korea..she definately got eye lid surgery. Miss japan however.. her eyes seem like the typical asian eyelids. If she did get surgery.. she would've gotten bigger eyelids i'd say.

It was sad what happened to Miss US though.
She fell so hard ! And then when it came to question time, everyone booed her while she was trying to answer.
Poor girl.
