I actually prefer the old one, she could've at least kept the bullet belt.

I prefer the old one too. It doesn't look as controversial as I expected it to be. I noticed there's an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the original skirt. Now that would make a beautiful costume, but many people would probably consider it sacrilegious.

I'm disappointed in Italy's national costume, I mean.. c'mon.

It reminded me of project fairs in grade school, where you could tell who had spent months on their projects, and who... had not. Beautiful woman, though.

For once I think that our Miss France is really great compared to others.I'm really dissapointed about the south american miss,they all look the same.
Can't wait for tonight though,I'm definitly gonna support Miss France and Miss Greece

A lot of them, particularly some of the South American and a few of the European contestants, loolked very plastic-y. My favourite is Tanzania, my jaw dropped when I saw her.

I didn't realize miss usa was boo-ed??? Was it heard on the tv broadcast? I guess I wasn't listening.

It's weird, at the beginning of the pageant I told my friend that somebody was gonna fall and low and behold it was miss usa. I felt soo bad.

Brazil and Japan looked gorgeous! I thought it was an interesting choice going with the long sleeve gucci dress but it worked for her!

I have a question..how come most of the contestants have different evening gowns from their pictures and what they actually wore in the pageant?

^ I think is because those dresses in the pics are not meant to be the same they are going to wear as their evening gown, they travel with many dresses, for interviews, pictures, presentations etc etc....

Miss Japan for example was not going to wear the Gucci dress tonight, but for some reason she went for that one at the end, it is to show you they have different dresses to pick from.

I adored that Gucci SS07 dress and she definitely stood out from everyone else in the competition. I'm also very happy that she won because she was my favorite in the Final 5.

My other favorites were Brazil, Venezuela, Tanzania, Norway... and I'm sure there are more.
