The embroidery, patchwork and prints are very 70s, no? I like the prints but hate embroidery. Honestly, I like the fresh, graphic black and white + tweed check more than the retro pieces.

After seeing whole collection I think I like it:-) Prada might be sophisticated and womanly. But I think she has managed to make a Miumiu collection with very rich pattern but still looking sweetly young. The high (victorian?) waist is superb:-)

The clothes are well-made, well-cut, for sure. The white bag in the very first photo in this thread was my favorite thing out of all of this, however.

I think MIU MIU is adorable, is like PRADA´s younger sister, it resembles to her older sister but she is fresh,modern and lovely. I used to dislike MIU MIU so much until my mom bought me a lovely handbag and since then MIU MIU is one of my fav brands.

there are a lot of fantastic tweedy type coats this season. i don't like prada this season, and i didn't like either one of them last season, but the fall/winter 05/06 mui mui is very good.

if i was a girl, my whole wardrobe for next season will be everything Miu Miu.

with her slightly ratted bouffant pony tail, net head scarf, and existentially hip early-sixties clothes, the Miu Miu girl has turned beatnik—sort of—for fall. she showed up, first of all, in a camel checked cape, white shirt, neat black a-line skirt, and chunky patent platform sandals—plain, neat, and intelligent. she's also instantly recognizable: a stock character who wanders the Prada universe picking up vintage pieces to put together in her dowdy/clever way. She has a collection of Mongolian-lamb wraps and coats with big shaggy collars, as well as paisley-printed skirts, dresses, and coats from that early, mumsy, psychedelic period. She also has a taste for drab knits and dubious suede patchwork in mustard and purple. And her tendency to spike things up with a black leather and chrome chain belt, or a studded bag, indicates a slight propensity for rocker-girl moodiness.

i loved this show, i felt that it was like as 1950's indie rocker chick with a polical boyfriend, who had a naive sense of style but tryed to add some rock influence withe the cat eyes and the chain mail sandal(awesome) and an irreverence to fashion, the pathchwork which is totally forward thinking, taking somethinging that is conventionally raw and boring and dipping it into the intoxicationg fun and quirkiness that miu miu has come to embody. I feel like miu miu is a brand that jumps from eras and location enlisting the style and attitude of the indie girls of that moment! i love it.
