Quite an impressive way to leave the final impression. This collection actually takes me back to Miu's Milanese era, that's something I would expect to see from Miuccia few years ago.
One really has to be bold to finish the season full of 60's Balenciaga cocoon silhouettes with such a powerful shoulder statement, and she's definitely one of the very few who can easily escape with it. I'm already curious what she has to say about this, but I just love the move with inverting her two brands' identities this season. While Prada was about a lady rediscovering her innocence, this looks like a little girl rediscovering, or attempting to reach rather for the maturity and lady-like dressing with those matronly looking 80's-vibed dresses. Saying attempting to reach I refer to those youngster-ish outfits like the one Anabela's wearing. Whatever it would be, it makes you wonder at the first sight already.
And don't even get me on the soundtrack, it's just beyond perfect, I literally couldn't imagine a better sound illustration for this one than Kate Bush's sensual, magical voice. And although I was hoping for another mansion-held presentation, it looks wonderful in the long Palais d'Iéna hall.
