God, this has Katie Grand all over it. It's the same campy, busy mess she's doing with Marc Jacobs. Two collections in and it's the two worse Miu Miu collections I can remember. Please for the love of god get this woman away from this brand.

Olivier Rizzo we miss you SO MUCH! Bring your belgian whimsy back into this house and get rid of the wicked old witch!

There is seriously only one piece I liked ,the cropped nylon parkas in pastel colours, but the rest is to be killed with fire- before it lays eggs.

Katie Grand is just the stylist not the designer. I blame Miuccia who imagined this collection. Katie, even if i am not a real fan of her, did her job and tried to style ... Olivier Rizzo would not have changed anything, trust me.

i've heard she wasn't happy with miu miu always ending up having to be made within a couple of weeks and also wasn't very pleased with some of the last collections rizzo worked on.


anyway what a mess of a collection, opposed to prada miu miu was still showing growth.. i wonder how much longer that's going to last.

I don't understand. Stylists/Journalists aren't designers or creative heads. They usually have a "decorative" approach versus a conscious, precise touch. This "resort" collection is a waste of time, resources, money and is a mockery.

^ haha ravers, groovers? I'd use both. I was also as committed to this look at 12 (pacifiers, glittered blue lips and all) as I was to getting into 'underground parties'.. probably my wildest fashion phase to date (what's funny in retrospective is the idea that I was being ironic carrying an elmo lunchbox when I must've done that as a real kid only 4 years before that.. ).

but this is a little ahead in the timeline no?, Nicole Richie/Von Dutch years, maybe a forgotten sidekick? lol..
