Lulu & Stella will almost positively be fine come Europe. I thought Mona was going to be a no-show until Khaite, so one could say she’s off to a slow NYFW start too - Alex also hasn’t shown up anywhere but MJ yet. Seems like Anok & Vitto are both skipping…?

Mona is at that point in her career where she's pretty much picking and choosing which shows to do, but I'm sure we'll see her at Tory Burch and Michael Kors Collection as well.
Could Lulu's absence be a strategy to enhance her and have her walk the most prestigious shows that NYFW lacks?

I don't know why you guys are speculating so much on NYFW castings honestly, NYFW is basically dead and no one is interested in those brands.
LFW is dead too and MFW would be dead if it wasn't for Prada and the newly revamped Dolce & Gabbana.

Totally agree NY and London are dead. LFW has become the most pretentious thing. Milan and Paris are okay ( imo ) purely because of the famous ones

I agree with you both. But I also think it's more than okay for anyone, myself included, to mention that some of the girls seem to be off to a slower start than expected or usual considering the lackluster schedule… everyone I mentioned here will be doing just fine come MFW/PFW.

There are some good shows. Not like Milano or Paris level, but decent enough!

But then I already count some girls out and we haven’t even hit Europe haha. Ryleabeth for example, unless she shows up at Tory Burch. And it’s still so early 😂

Mia Armstrong skipped NYFW.

I think a lot of models skipped it or limited themselves to just a few shows. So few new faces or A listers. Immediately coming off mens wear shows and haute couture season back to back, maybe some of the women just opted for a rest. Overall, NY seems to be losing its importance as a place for models, although a lot of advertising is still centered here. But if the NY agencies were once the epicenter for models, I'm getting the feeling that Paris and the agencies there are what really determines now how a girl's career goes.
