Style.com's Top Ten New Faces - F/W 07.08

I'd say no too to Jessica. If you compare the Jil Sander girl to the Prada girl then Irina did a lot more shows and is far more interesting I believe.

^I agree she didn't stand out this season besides opening Jil Sander. I have a feeling that her books will excel next season. But this definitely isn't her season...

Yeah I don't think she will make the list either, I am just suprised no one mentioned her at all, not even in their "maybe" list. Lots of people listed Ali on their list and I'd have to say Jessica Beyers had a better showlist (I  Ali's look but that is just what I see looking from the outside). I agree though, I don't think she'll be in it this year but she has a shot. Who knows indeed.

Does anyone know when it will be announced? I'm sorry if someone has already answered this question but I'm in a hurry and I can't go back and check hehe.

They'll just randomly post the list, but it usualy shows up a week or 2 after Fashion Week. :flower:

PS: If the list comes up, please post it in a new thread so that we can close this one down. There's no more need for predicting once we have the list right. :flower:

^Wouldn't you want to post the list here so people can compare how they did. It would seem to be a little more work to have to jump back and forth between the threads just to compare and contrast. I don't know, just an opinion.

Style.com has a nice little blurb about their favorite girls from this season:

Face First Who's this season's next big thing? By our tallies, Russian newcomer Irina Kulikova (left), who walked exclusively for Calvin Klein in New York, opened six shows. But Australian beauty Catherine McNeil (right), who skipped New York to shoot British Vogue with Mario Testino, just edged her out, opening seven. As for Style.com's favorite, it's still Freja Beha Erichsen; she was our "cover girl" three times (Burberry, Marni, and YSL) during the collections.

That'll be fine as well...I'll then change the title :flower:

Perfectly fine with me! Just remove "Predict" and we should be fine

I really wish that they would get on with it already.

Catherine's gorgeous, the Joannas are adorable, but Kinga and Diana are so subtle to me. They're all starting to look like each other. I hope someone different like Han Hye Jin makes the list..... I'm glad Chanel made it last time

I already changed my mind. I sense in my big toe that Sheila Marquez will be on that list. But I don't know who to remove... 'tis too hard. :(
Isn't she the one with some not so flattering topless pics floating around? It's amazing what a little grooming and good management can do...

Anyway, I don't pay as close attention to new models as most of you guys, but I have to say that Catherine McNeil stood out the most this season. Her look doesn't even appeal to me, but she has presence. Something 90 % of the models seem to lack these days, they're all so wishy-washy.

I also like Kasia Struss and Alyona Osmanova, less memorable than someone like McNeil, but they're both beautiful, great runway girls that wear clothes extremely well. The elegant Jourdan from Women too, but she wasn't visible enough to make the list I guess. And the Miu Miu girl, Anabela? She stuck with me. Or rather, her face did, she looks like she should be put on hold for a few seasons.

Well the good news is that Style.com just released their Top Ten Collections list. Which means that the Top Ten Model's list should be coming up in the next week or so.

Sooooo excited!

Yeah I just noticed the top ten collections too!
Cant be long now...

Yeah Bruna made it last season. The only one i believe could probably repeat is suvi / she only did prada and miu miu last season and this season she was doing more than excelent. But i doubt there will be any repetitions this time.
