Like Tanya, Sui and Hana? Haha that always annoys me. Schiaparelli can bring them out for couture and then we don’t see them again!

Tbh the PGDM snoozefest you talk of probably includes all my runway faves so 🫣 lol

Those are my favorite too, but it's annoying that he's using the same casting formula for EVERY brand he does the castings for. There is no variety and difference among the brands: his favorite + some blue chip model for virality.
He's the most influential figure in fashion after Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful, he has unlimited resources and budget, yet he delivers the same kind of casting from Versace to Tory Burch and Rabanne.
The possibilities are endless yet he's so lazy:
- Cast with >50% 00's runway icons
- Cast with >50% black models
- Cast with as many trans models as possible
- Cast with no Loli Bahia, Mona, Angelina, Felice or Karolina LOL

Yesterday's casting at Tory Burch, even though it was entrusted to Brokaw, was ultimately not that different from a casting of Piergiorgio. Mona did all the shows I expected except Calvin Klein, which probably didn't walk because she went to New York two days later.

Loli, Angelina and FELICE are my top 10 favorites LOL! Especially Felice! But I always think of her as more of an Ashley girl who does both. ( Along with Sascha, Apolline, Awar, Cong, Lina, Betsy )

Mona was never my thing.

Last Season Versace casting was so bad! Though Viktoria Wirs made her debut which was great!

But Tory Burch was very PG give a few girls, like Shuqi Lan or Diane Chiu who I don’t think ever walked a PG show.

Michael Kors cast didn’t impress me.

But seeing Ana Sofia and Xinyue makes me wonder if this is the start of their breakout seasons. They have been walking better shows than usual. And top shows this season too.

Michael Kors didn't have the best casting, perhaps partly due to the fact that the top models snubbed NY. I loved Felice in that show, could Trentini be in NYC for Thom Browne?

Super weird that Sun/Canlan/Mika are only doing one NYFW show… even Beauise, Greta B., and Jadi I’d expect to at least book more than one show. Then again, I’ve never really been fond of either of those names (minus Mika) as much more than a runway filler.

Speaking of, why doesn’t anyone ever mention Sascha Rajasalu in the trans models conversation? Even on social media, it seems to start and end at Alex and Colin re; high fashion… wonder if not very many people in the general public know Sascha is trans or if they just don’t keep up enough to know there’s a model that tends to book more shows, especially those casted by PG, than the two aforementioned names but doesn’t have the same online platform/presence.

I vividly remember her having “Trans model” alongside the flag in her IG bio back when she first started doing runway - it’s gone now, but I undoubtedly remember it being there. Would never make a claim like that if I didn’t know with certainty 🫂
