What's funny is it becomes very obvious when he/his team invests full effort into trying to make someone new happen, like Vanessa Warg in Milan this season (Who does seem very worthy). However she has not been present in much of Paris so far, which may indicate other CDs not willing to follow through I guess...there're still many days left for her though!

Piergiorgio is actually more versatile than people here give him credit for, although this is more evident in his editorial casting (e.g. compare HTSI with D Repubblica). However whilst it was good to see clear distinctions between DvN, Acne and TF I agree it's ridiculous that he's doing all of those shows and so many more. I don't really rate the other prominent casting directors though, certainly not Julia Lange. And Ashley seems to be regressing back to breaking in white sexless teenagers; the days of Aymeline on the one hand or Anok and Sora on the other hand feel long gone.

Michelle Lee doesn't get enough shows, she's not really a star maker but I think she's got a good, versatile vision. Not to mention that her contributions to Interview helped consolidate Fabien and Karl's high standards and vision. Once MGC leaves Dior not sure she'll have much left to cast .

The Mona + Vittoria moment at Tom Ford was everything!

I am excited to see the Chloe cast tomorrow. It has been one of my favorite casts the past 2 seasons. It's probably Ashley's best show in Paris for her new faces with Loewe being out of play this season. So many Ashley casted shows have been not showing. Hopefully if JWA gets Dior she will cast that too. As much as I love the PGDM girls ( Angelina specifically), sometimes it's nice to see other models shine.

Once MGC leaves Dior not sure she'll have much left to cast

Her Dior casting is pretty weak too. A name like Dior should be able to pull top girls but unfortunately that is not the case. There’s a handful, but top models like Anok, Vittoria, Lexi, etc won’t be caught walking the show. It’s too bad she lost Sacai to PGDM. It was one of her more strongly cast shows.

A bit weird to see Lexy Boling walking Acne Studios after AlaÎa.
And as a face of so many Prada campaigns last year she didn't even walk the Prada Show this time.
But she booked Fendi and Versace.
Quite a strange comeback.

It’s funny that a select few casting directors have such a hold over the modelling industry because there is a such a variance in who is cast in the top shows. I try not to build too much of an expectation of a model because the industry is so fickle - even a girl like Stella Hanan isn’t undeniable.
