Oh I just adore that fabulous Chloé lineup! Time and again, Ashley Brokaw proves why she's the best casting director in town. She just gets it.

Piergiorgio can cast all the shows under the sun, but the moment stylists and creative directors intervene with his casting curation (Sacai and Paco Rabanne come to mind), you can bet it would be filled with Ashley's girls. He's always had tendencies of bandwagoning on them anyway. Pffft!

So glad still being able to see her doing a few appearances every now and then, I will always enjoy her work and that sweet energy of hers. And she also seemed like a very kind person to me. It was one of my first fashion weeks, nearly 20 years ago (sounds so strange to write this, still feels like yesterday to me). Met her after Guy Laroche show. She was already around for some time, and her career didn't really take off as fast as others' (apart from her regular Chanel gigs) and she was slightly worried and almost thinking of giving it up. Fortunately, things really took off not long after and I thought she truly deserved it. So, yeah, couldn't be any happier than seeing her right now at Chloé.

I really don't mind seeing her. I don't know why but I always kind of liked her. And seems that another endeavor of hers is on, she's in the latest issue of Marfa Journal (though the true highlight of this issue is clearly Angelina Kendall's cover. I hadn't seen such a smile in fashion in years).

Awar and Stella Hanan did all of the top shows today. Walking Chloe, Rabanne, Schiaparelli, and Isabel Marant. Did any other models walk those 4? Angelina, Loli, Mona, and Hejia did 3 of those 4.

Completely with you on this one. I was already impressed by the first pictures I saw from her book (test shots mostly). And now it seems things are turning well for her and I couldn't be happier with such news.
