What happened to Jing Wen? She seemed on the upward trajectory about 5 years ago and then disappeared. COVID ruined her bookings, school, got married/pregnant, etc?

I shut the Selena haters up all piece. Or maybe they had a fake reason to dislike her in the first place.

Not me having to say Selena isn’t a good person out loud a third time 😭😭😭 Her only redeemable elements are an agent who’ll ride for her till the sun sets, solid industry connects, and a [tomboyish cool girl] image. Though I might be a hypocrite for having Anok in my pfp while reacting with exclamation marks on the Adut shade and detesting Selena so much… my bad @xenolith

Even though I also believe He Cong deserves all the rest in the world, her presence is sorely missed. But this season, no He Cong nor HyunJi offers a beautiful backdrop for newer East Asian models to make their mark in.

I thought Xinyue would be that girl, but her Milano was not great and her Paris bookings haven't all been that great either. Her NYC show-list was very nice though.

Did Piergiorgio banish her (Vanessa) back to Sweden? Did an E-scooter collide into her after Dries Van Noten? It’s so odd that she’s not booking anything after a strong debut in Milan.

I suspect she's actually young and still in school, and she ran out of vacation days allowed.

This does happen often with models (Especially in EU) who debut while still in high school.

opened gucci, Tods, Jil Sander
closed Hermes and Ferrari. And she's a regular Prada girl.

Even Loli closed 3 shows and hasn't opened any show until now

PGDM started her at the very beginning with Tom Ford and Versace, so I have to give him/them credit for having some kind of foresight there. But from there on out it was (IMHO) all Alex fueling her own momentum even as her runway shows faded in quality, and now everyone is back on board again...hahah love to see it.
