I think Betsy will be the top walker of the season though. If not her then Awar. Sascha was up there, but always seems to book less come Paris.

Apolline is booking a lot less than last Paris it seems. Of course we still have 3 days left so it could change.

Remember the days of models walking 70 shows? Ofc so many brands don’t even show anymore.

It's fascinating how Adut faded away, since her “mamma and pappa” go away and her “uncle” pieropalo - so that's the real Adut. Without their background support, none cared about her anymore, and I’m glad because she deserves that.

yes. But Mona is already an established model. i was talking about news girls.. So now Lulu opened 5 shows. I hope she also opens Chanel not Loli

Penelope is not that new, she's actually been around nearly as long as Mona but did not consistently book top shows until a little over a year ago.

I actually like Michele's casting choices. It's always girls that fit his aesthetic. Designers should follow this approach instead of having faces of the moment that often look out of place.

Will never get either. I usually like Ben Grimes’ casting but her Valentino castings have been horrible.

It's called being on Piergiorgio's good side. Lol. In all seriousness, she is very beautiful but I agree, she lacks versatility, especially in print. Hope she can improve though!

I can’t stand her either at shows but I’d say it’s because of her being beautiful. The industry has a thing for very beautiful yet talentless women and she’s perfect for brands like YSL which don’t require much expression. She also got some gigs for makeup brands and she fits the image of a French woman who’s effortlessly elegant (although Loli has no elegance whatsoever irl). I also prefer conventionally attractive faces and have followed her from the start, that’s why I have a soft spot for her.
Also if I was getting paid thousands I wouldn’t put much effort as well lol. It’s not like the supermodels have the same impact as they had 20-30 years ago, now they won’t be recognised outside of the industry unless you date someone famous or nepotism.

i fear for the day she will be ( or perhaps she already has?) in the same show walking before or after the likes of great walkers like Mariacarla or ...gosh... Naomi. you know? shes lucky she is naturally beautiful and has a great photogenic face but that non existent face expression fumes me lol
