Very interested in seeing what becomes of Elina Gunawardena. Also not sure what to make of Sandra Murray's season. We still have some shows left but I expected more of her. Aside from Dior, did she open or close other shows? Not sure this was the star-making season that some expected.

According to her IG stories, it is indeed her (nathalie.aurel) - perhaps it’s her middle name, can’t imagine Skye being a nickname.

Just back from viewing Miu Miu's video. Someone on the collection's thread complained about Amelia Gray's walk (quite... "special" indeed even if I do like her). Wondering now if Libby B will be officially downgraded as second worst walker of the season...

On a more serious note, does anyone know the name of the model with short curly hair (first half of the show, rather at the beginning... it's too long of a show to go back to the exact timing and I'm kinda multitasking so can't right now). But my heart skipped a beat at that exact moment.

Overall : perhaps not the casting of the season but it did really make sense. Very in tune with the atmosphere and the collection. I won't complain.

Agreed on Elina - how gorgeous she is! Also seems to be Sri Lankan which has not had strong representation in the industry in the past.

Sandra Murray's sophomore season shocked me actually. She has such a strong presence on the runway but ended up doing worse in Paris this time compared to six months ago/her debut (Despite her first full Milan being very good)...so confounding.

Yes, Sandra Murray... A bit sad she didn't walk more. And yes again about Elina, one in a million. Sophisticated. Also agree that Sri Lanka isn't exactly what used to be a hotspot for model scouts but seems more countries are represented nowadays (a good thing), even found a Libyan model signed with some agencies in big cities (her name doesn't come up to my mind right now... shame on me, I'm usually not that bad at keeping names in mind).

Oh, and Sanique at Miu Miu was really a nice moment too. Even if it's just me watching it on YouTube...

I really don’t care for Amelia Gray as a model BUT credit when credit is due, I think she has a strong walk. Unfortunately, I think she was totally miscast for that show: all the other models were charmingly ungainly and walked very staccato, which complimented the collection, while I found Amelia’s self-assured presence to be quite incongruous with the rest of the cast.

I must say you've just made two interesting points.

Yes, Amelia was out of place, somehow (but I do care about her as a model, as strange as it may seem from me. The thing is some photographs of hers are simply genius but lost in a sea of random stuff because "she's in high demand at the mo").

Sanique. Couldn't agree more, green as a pea (in a pod at Miu Miu but otherwise?). But if she (and the team of agents behind) takes some extra time and do things the 'right way' (does that even exist), she could make wonders.
