I don't really think it's too late. I'd rather say she started a bit too early but does it even matter. She's got it and if everything goes well, she'll have her time a bit later.

I feel like there were a few decent/fun surprises and discoveries along the way but overall rather meh idk..

I love this Top 5 (6) Lulu annoyed me this season, but these girls are usually some of my favorites.

The new girls I liked last season mostly flopped haha ( Viktoria, Ryleabeth, Esther Santos ) and then ones like Stella and Mia just did eh.

Casting was boring. No one exciting debuted until Prada / Versace and the dominated Paris. Or they debuted in Paris and then dominated.
But I am excited for Claire, Libby T., Nastassia, Atheic, Achol K., JACQUI ( who I think is the next runway star ) but this crop of girls will hopefully dominate next season.

Missed so many shows that usually had more exciting casts.

Loved seeing Isabeli walking again, even if it was lame shows.

But overall, boring season.

Ashley at LV has the best new faces, PDM is loosing his “magic” on casting, Julia Lange is doing a very good job.

^ Piergiorgio's best castings were always for Saint Laurent, and that has now been thrown over as a bone to a post DM Samuel Ellis Scheinman. That's the show that launched Adut, Maty, Ella and Ajus off the top of my head.

SES has 0 vision as far as new faces, although it looks like he tried to throw a few exclusives in tonight.

In the past Ashley's faces for LV have been a standout but I'm not impressed recently, perhaps with the exception of the opener this season.

Don't want to be a pessimist but a lot of the (boring) newbies all look alarmingly underage; I thought there were proper limits in place to deter under 18s for walking (at least at large) but any rules that were in place appear to be being flouted? Perhaps someone can shed some more light. Also it feels like the turnover rate of black models is accelerating again, apart from the obvious top girls like Mona and Awar. I mean two shows for a girl of Sheila Bawar's calibre is criminal, especially given the endorsement she's had from Katie Grand and Karl Templer! And to add insult to injury the fact that there seem to be very few new (East) Asian girls who are let in by the industry gatekeepers and Paloma is literally the only token representation for plus size make it feel like we're back in 2012. Only with way worse collections etc.

^ Models under 18 can still walk so long as they're being chaperoned in Europe. They cap it off at 16 now, though.

I thought Sam Davis might be severely underage so I didn't bother creating her a thread last season, but it turns out she's 19... unsure about the others who appear quite young.

very boring, very repetitive. for me casting wise the highlight was prada and miumiu
in terms of walking in general Versace was horrendous
overall boring and was missing that va va voom for me

Oh OK, I wasn't aware of this because generally speaking in the last few years things seem to be healthier age wise amongst the current crop of new faces/in demand models. I assume that Condé and most other publishing houses still don't let the same girls feature in editorial work if they are under 18, hence the wait before Mona and Angelina appeared in Vogue etc.?

Luiza Perote walked in many big shows. I thought she would disappear quickly.. And its very annoying the way casting directors hired black girls with no hair. Always the same and i think its very problematic

I don't manage to keep up with castings anymore but I too have appreciated such an active thread this season and the showlists too

Cong He continues to be sorely missed. Bochert at SL cleared any other recent stunt casting.
