Model Casting F/W 2025.26

Okay here are my thoughts
  • Awar is everything I wish for. She’s divine!
  • I love Anouk Smits, Olivia Petronella, Athiec Geng, Bibi Breslin, Freya Nutter, Anyier Anei and Ella Dalton. I wish they would book more shows
  • Although I love Loli, Mona and Lulu, I wish other models would open/close shows. Like Ajus opening YSL!!!
  • Not really exciting new faces this season. The standouts for me are Thea Almqvist, Libby Taverner, Pola Dzik, Sophie Scott and Charlie Jones.
  • Anok and Rianne were truly missed. At least Anok did YSL I guess
  • SASHA LUSS! Unfortunately it was for LDSS, but better than nothing.
  • Why Mika Schneider and Rebecca barely do any shows?
  • Lindsey Wixson still has that charm 😍

I think agencies (Especially MAs) need to steer away from the runway "formula."
This.

I've been called crazy by many back then when I used to say something similar. Unfortunately the so-called alternatives some of them find to keep going on aren't always better.

LV has nice new faces but they’re locked in the LV Basement and only come out for LV shows 😂 And then they don’t all do good when their contracts are finished. Capucine for example. Stunning, but where did she go? Qisi, Samille, Masha - basically still only do LV but at least LV is Loyal unlike Prada…

Larissa walking shows other than LV in Paris after only 1 season and 1 resort show as a WWE / Exclusive gives me hope for her breaking out. I love her look!

Also, how can you not love seeing Jessica Miller back. Pristine walk.
Oh yes! She is the best comeback from last season. I'm glad she was still around this season as well. I remember I saw her after Sonia Rykiel in Paris back in 2011. She was already 27 at that time, never have I imagined her showing up again, out of the blue, in 2025, looking better than ever!

Some final considerations: Mona confirms herself once again as the best model of fashion month, Alex Consani rose to prominence after the MOTY award. Yasmin Wijnaldum is trying to gain ground again (after that distancing that I assume was voluntary) and the more established models have almost or partially skipped fashion month. For some, Gigi Hadid's absence from Versace was a trauma, but personally I think that duo was extremely forced and not very credible. Fendi was the strongest and most credible casting. I missed Layla Etengan among the newest ones, the model who is establishing herself best is Angelina Kendall, but I also have great hopes for Luiza Perote and Sascha Rajasalu. The most difficult absences were Maty Fall (1 show) and Vittoria Ceretti (4 shows)
