Most shows a model has done in a single season?

I wonder if Tilda Lindstam's going to break some records this season. If not, she'll be really close at least: 54 shows already and Paris hasn't even started

tbh i don't think she's going to break vlada's record which is impossible, she wouldnt be even close to vlada...vlada did 85 shows in her fw 2006 season in all four cities (NY, London,Milan and Paris) - +6 shows in saopaolo so her runway record was 91 shows! - but we only count four cities ...tilda needs to walk 32 shows in paris to break the record and at the end did 86 shows...there are also Iekeliene Stange with 78 shows (SS 2007), MCB with 76 shows (FW 2002.03) and Jacquelyn Jablonski with 74 shows only in the three cities (NY, Paris, Milan) - she skipped london that season!!! ...

^Liu Wen and Yulia Kharlapanova both had over 70 shows (Across just the four main cities) at one point in their careers as well...I believe it was even the same season!

I don't know why a model would do it to themselves, walking multiple shows a day for a month. I understand wanting to wall all the blue chip shows but to make such a total as some of the girls above they must be walking smaller name shows. They must sleep for days afterwards.

I have to completely agree, if I were a model I would want to walk only blue chips and a few good shows each city rather than as many as I can. A lot of models who do 70+ shows in a season easily burn out and fade away.

Constance was the top walker of SS10 with 72 shows - her only massive runway season - while Liu Wen reached 70 a couple of time and topped the FW09 charts with 74 shows (tied with Yulia K).

They could do 65 shows a year ago. Now they can walk a little bit above 50 shows. I miss those times

I was thinking about this thread the other day because someone on youtube claims that Vlada Roslyakova has a guinness record for most shows walked in a single fashion season (87 at the major cities and 91 if we include Sao Paulo Fashion Week) but I don't know whether that's true or not. In fact, I found a tweet from a model facts account who wrote that Gisele's best season was about 86 shows in 1999.



The fact that Vlada walked so many shows in a short period of time is just mind blowing to me, absolutely insane! today's models don't do more than 30 per season.
