Donnie Darko made me think rather heavily for about 2 minutes. that was when I figured that I should probably stop trying to get it in order to save my mental sanity.
umm...Jurassic Park caused me severe nightmares and later on, when I watched The Ring, my subconscience created one happy little dream combo with Samara and a T-Rex hiding behind my room door...Rex held the knife, though.
Dogville, for me that was the purest form of torture (the way Grace was treated) It made me think about the way I am to other people, and it somehow portrays how it is to be a stranger.
Dancer in the Dark
made me think about... the gift of imagination/ human resiliency Sliding Doors
