Naomi Campbell Arrested

Naomi Campbell cleared and answering accusations

On October 25th, Naomi Campbell was taken into custody in London after her female drug counselor accused the model, who has had a few problems with claims of violence in the past, of attacking her and scratching her face. It was revealed today the The Crown Prosecution Service will not press charges against the model/actress.

Naomi Campbell spoke to Sky News, "What's awful about it is it's dropped - none of it was concrete evidence to be held. It was so hurtful, almost to the point of depressing, and that's what's awful about it. I have to be very careful who I'm around, what I say ... I prefer not to be round someone on my own any more because I just don't know the agendas that people have."

Naomi Campbell claims that she's the target of people trying to make money off of her and the string of assault charges and lawsuits are proof of that. Several former assistants and employees have come out against Campbell in recent months, but the actress tells Sky News, "It's been really like a tough year in terms of like the accusations and stuff like that. It's been very hurtful and blown out of proportion. But I can't stop getting on with my life. I have to get on with my life. I can't pay too much attention to this negative stuff. I don't like to live in the negative. I like to stay in the present moment and stay positive. It's just like 'where does this come from and why?' I just feel like I am a target. People have told me for months and years, 'You're a target.' But it's only just kind of sunken in that I am a target."

The charges against Naomi Campbell and her counselor may have been dropped, but the model is still expected in a New York court in January to face charges from throwing her jewel-encrusted phone at her maid Ana Scolavino. She could face up to seven years in jail if she's convicted of the second-degree assault. It's possible that the model could get community service, but she has made it clear she won't sweep the streets like Boy George did earlier this year. Even with those charges on the horizon, Naomi Campbell told Sky News, ""I just want to have my health every day, and my family's health. I'm happy right now. I know not every day's going to be great. I don't drink, I don't do drugs any more and I feel great about that."

And now, a brief history of Naomi Campbell's either 'being a target' or 'having anger problems,' however you want to look at it. In 1998, Georgina Galanis, an assistant to Campbell accused the actress of hitting her over the head while on a film set. In 2000, Vanessa Frisbee, another assistant, claimed that Campbell threw a plate at her, which the model. denied and actually sued over. A year later, Simone Craig, another assistant, claims that she was held hostage by Naomi Campbell. In 2004, Millicent Burton, a maid, reported that Naomi Campbell has slapped her, a case in which Naomi used the "she started it" defense. A year later, Amanda Brack accused Campbell of beating her. The same year, an actress, Yvonne Scio, claimed that Campbell punched and kicked her in a Rome hotel. Finally, Ana Scolavino this year alleged that she suffered a head wound after Naomi Campbell threw her mobile phone at her head.

I freakin' hate this woman. My blood boils everytime I hear her name. Apparently the law in the U.K. is worth crap if trash like Naomi and Pete Doherty can walk free everytime.

^ Ermm...take it easy!. Ever thought about the possiblity that she might be innocent?. No one has ever had concrete evidence that she has indeed assualted all these women.
I don' t really believe most of these accusations. She' s right, she is an easy target because she is known to be difficult to deal with at times:innocent:

Either way, she' s a fabulous model and that' s all I care about.

I'd say the blood stained shirt that her maid was wearing was pretty convincing evidence. I guess the maid bludgeoned herself around her head?

From everything I have seen, Naomi has a bad, bad temper. She's a spoilt brat. Basically she thinks she can treat people like dirt and get away with it. I imagine throwing a phone at someone is nothing to her, heaven forbid she doesn't get her away.

I have to laugh at the image of poor innocent Naomi being cruelly accused by all these nasty people all of whom have strikingly similar stories about ill treatment at her hands. The woman is a raving b*****. They should send her to jail, maybe then she'd think twice about assaulting someone else.
