Natural, fresh and effortless makeup for S/S 06

Do anyone have pictures of brown eyed models wearing this kind of make up?
The one posted above looks very plain and ' dry '.

I am a minimalist..

I wear a little concealer,
all over powder( not heavy),
eyeliner (corner of the outer portion of the eye),
mascara( can't do without it)
Lipgloss and
dab of bronzer on my cheeks

Turns out looking not too over done and fresh

^^we have simliar makeup styles but I dont need powder or concealer. It's a really cute fresh look !!

minimal make up looks usually best.

-tinted moisturizer or a light foundation
-concealer lightly patted under eyes, and on all small flaws
-warm pink/peach cream blush on apples of cheeks, blended upwards and out
-clear gloss on lips
-curled lashes/black mascara(brown for blondes)
-vaseline on lids, cheekbones, and lips(if you don't wear the gloss)

this look is very basic, but very easy to alter. you can dab the cream blush on lips and blend lightly on lids for a sheer wash of colour, and play with shades(bronzes,red,pinks,abricots...anything warm and natural). You can go very natural during the day,and wear it a bit heavier for the day.blending is the key for a natural look.Vaseline is great for highlighting features, and enhancing the natural glow:smile: matte, gloss and subtle shimmer are good, avoid anything very shimmery or glitter.Brows should be neatly plucked,bt never too thin.

i also really like the makeup like this, but done on tanned skin

The strange thing is that sometimes it takes MORE makeup to look MORE natural.

My suggestions:

- Skip the eyeliner and lip liner
- Go with a superb eyelash curler, brown/clear mascara, tinted moisturizer, conceiler, highlighting cream for the cheeks, a creamy blush, and a nude lip gloss.

By highlighting cream do you mean something like MAC Strobe Cream?

This is my look

I need some new makeup though... any suggestions on:

Cream Blush
Tinted Moisterizer
Highlighter
Lip Gloss

... the kinds needed to stay on this look... thanks

Yes, please recommend!!!!! :flower:

I love this makeup. You´ve gotta take great care of your skin, but it pays off because it´s so chic to wear touchable kissable skin instead of heavy masks of makeup.

I´ve learnt the hard way that the more you pile up make up, the worse it looks.

By the way, what´s with the brown haired girl´s brows in post N2? They look weird and yellow....

can anyone recommend a good brand of cream blush?

I like MAC Blushcream...not too thick or shiny, lasts a long time and easy to apply (I use a foundation brush).

My everyday look ♥
I just use powder in my skin shade, not darker, not lighter (the latter is impossible anyways ), sometimes some blush and mascara. If your skin is good enough for it, wear tinted moisturizer and cream blush, that looks even more natural because it's not as unnaturally matte as powder, I'm still working on getting the skin for that

Ditto. And even if i dont have the skin for it, i still do the natural look anyway

My Makeup

-Spot concealer- in my exact skintone
-loose powder very light dusting- also in myskintone- I got both custom matched from Prescriptives
-powder blush
(I have oily skin so I need something to make me more matte, and less "greasy" )

-Semisheer lipstick- not heavy or old lady, but just a bit more substance than gloss
-Brown shadow just in the crease of the eyelid
-Mascara (after eyelash curler)
-sometimes clear mascara in the brows if they're unruly, to make them even

Writing it all down it sounds like a lot, but it's all applied really lightly, and I think it looks quite natural

I love the look so much, especially the one from MJ!

I can't ever pull off pale pink gloss though, it just doesn't work with my skin tone. Any ideas in how to maybe alter the look for olive skin types?
