the sale finally started today. some decent things but still not enough for me to place an order.

Does anyone know when the rest of the stuff goes on sale on the uk website?
 
has anyone ever been asked to verify their credit card?

I just changed my delivery details etc and so they've asked to verify. they couldn't verify with the bank initially so now they've said they've credited an amount back to me and want me to call my bank so i can nap them how much was credited.

I appreciate that they're taking precautions. Pity the aussie dollar just dropped to an all time low and i'm paying practically twice as much. so the bit they credited back to me will probably double in amount. arghhhh

just checking this is the normal verification process?
 
they never asked me to do so = even the first time.
 
justlooking - I had a bit of a hassle the first time I was buying from them regarding shipping/billing address differences.
 
yeh, i've never had trouble before when i've bought off them. I think it's because I changed the billing address this time. grrr. Like you Aris, I never had to verify the first time

I just received this strange e-mail from NAP

Has anybody from EU received such a request? Do they have a registration as personal data administrator and comply with protection data law ?
 
Ae they asking for your pin? This has to be a joke, thats absolutely unacceptable in every way!
 
I haven't received it either, but I don't know if it's because I'm in ____ country?? either way it sounds fishy, especially with the weird deadline. I wouldn't give them any info to be on the safe side
 
I would not give them your details. Contact customer service and speak to someone that way... Anything sent via email like that is fishy, IMO.
 
thank you all - problem looks to be that UK has a lower VAT now...
 
not sure when the uk sale starts, it always seems to take forever. if i remember correctly i think it was after xmas last year.
