New York or London?

I'll stay in Miami, but between New York and London... NEW YAWK

New York! The exchange rate for us Americans in London is mur derous!
Makes me so crazy . . . and I get too tempted to buy stuff!

New York.
It's livelier and yup I don't think I can live in a place where the pace is too slow.

I don't think London is more expensive for the people that actually live there. It seems expensive to tourists because our exchange rate is terrible.
I love the architecture in London and the people, but New York is the greatest city ever. There's no other place like it.

Definately London. I liked New York but there's just something about London...

new york sounds sweeter and better to me
it the edge and the vibe of the big apple that does it!

and besides, living costs of london are WAY too high

Well, IMO living costs of London are pretty much at normal levels. If NY is cheaper.. then.. then?

I stayed in London for a week, in an apartment. Using the tube [underground] and making daily shopping at Tesco seemed way too cheap for me.

New York... I hope to live there one day.

London is more expensive than New York? Really?
Could somebody elaborate on this.

Much more expensive - in New York you can eat out or get takeaways everyday and not go bankrupt (that explains their tiny kitchens). If you tried to do that in London you'd go bankrupt!

Just about everything is cheaper, especially more so at the moment because of the weak dollar.

I like visiting New York, but I prefer London. I did consider working there when I was in my 20's but the 10 days holiday a year really put me off - how do you people cope with that?

Also the weather is more extreme - too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer - I'm quite happy with Britains mild, damp climate.

London has more cooky charm in my opinion. I'm living in London now, but have lived in NY when i was younger, and visited many times since.
Recommend: the "hidden London" tour - loved it!

that's a tricky question , I have been only one time in NYC and now 3 times in London, I love both cities, both have her own beauty and excitment , I love to live in both cities.

Neither-I prefer Paris  I am a native New Yorker but am looking forward to leaving this city very soon.
