He looks so good at the premiere. And I must say he has the most stunning blue eyes. As for not walking the red carpet, I don't really blame him, I bet the Harry Potter fans were a bit overwhelming because their were so many in Trafalgar Square. Besides, he always strikes me as a bit of a reserved guy who doesn't do big crowds if he can help it.
