Nina Ricci F/W 10.11 Paris

remind me of that mcqueen dress...different colours, but still

I like the simple little dresses and the second to last evening gown, and I see what they're trying to do with Nina Ricci (as in taking it back to the flirty, feminine, light aesthetic the house was founded on), but this just feels worlds away from Olivier's last collection. Not saying that's necessarily a bad thing, just... so different.

umm........
idk what to think of this collection
its pretty but..ugh. Boring

This is bad on sooo many levels. It looks like a giant mess of things quickly (and blindly) tossed together. Where is the cohesion? I mean, it's like 10% there. Not even. Bad, just bad. And ugly colors together. Paging Theyskens...

this cant even be called a collection.. looks poorly put together, made.. ew.

it is pretty but I wouldn't wear any of it. Or, I wouldn't WANT to wear any of it. Kind of boring.

this is the most horrendous vision i've seen; this is tarnishing the ricci brand appeal. the bouffants arent even done well. this collection is a mess.

Wow...:ninja:. It starts off so drab and dull and then you go through some nice pieces (the pink slip on Rasa) and then into full on flashy/tacky/costume mode. I do appreciate the Fairy Tale influence in the collection, like the Red Riding Hood esque cape on Frida...but 90% of this is too much for me. At least the silhouette on Constance's simple black dress is simple and appealing.

wow...i have never sees such badly designed gown before. it looks like a cut and paste job! who is the designer?

i did actually find it beautiful. love the dark looks.

There were two designers that made Nina Ricci an interesting brand: Nina Ricci and Olivier Theyskens. The rest is pure rubish. This terrible collection proves it

lol this is so random and useless.
Exactly. Who thought that this collection was a good idea? Don't we have enough silly, saccharine, faux lady-lady like, useless clothes thrown at us each season? Do we really need more?

No. Close the house...what's the point.

OMG - Peter Copping you is for me......:heart::heart::heart::heart:

I cannot words for describe this collection so perfect :wub::wub::clap:

It still holds the same kind of romance that Nina Ricci stands for, but these pieces are NO WHERE near as dramatic or influential as Theyseken's creations were. I don't care, I know it sounds morbid and negative and pathetic but I will ALWAYS compare Ricci's designers to Olivier. Simply because he had such a clear and true vision for Nina Ricci.

Bette than Copping's last collection.
